"These are just my preliminary project directions. What do you think?" Sienna asked.
Adrian Markell patted her shoulder. "I think you could go deeper."
"Deeper? Could you be more specific?"
Adrian thought for a moment. "Sienna, if this were just a simple school project, it would be excellent. But if you're aiming higher, this premise isn't enough. Remember, a decision-maker must act like God. God never wavers, because God never lacks believers."
Sienna nodded thoughtfully, picking up her tablet to revise her work.
*Ding!*
An email notification popped up on the computer screen.
Adrian took a sip of his ginseng tea and casually clicked the file. A moment later, his gaze froze, and he slowly set the cup down.
"Sienna, come here."
Sienna had already reached the study door. She turned back, but Adrian didn't even look at her. His eyes were glued to the screen.
Puzzled, she walked back. "Dad, what is it?"
Adrian let out a heavy sigh and turned the monitor toward her.
*To the Incompetent Mr. President!*
The title alone screamed of some radical anti-establishment manifesto.
Signed: Bianca Whitmore.
Seeing the name, Sienna immediately sensed trouble. She skimmed the text.
*Good day, Mr. President.*
*I am sure you are well aware of the recent uproar surrounding The Shooting Spree Case. I don't know what your thoughts are, but I have been losing sleep over it. I worry for my dear friend's safety, and I worry even more for the stagnant future of Athelvia.*
"We just got word," Gideon said. "The judge assigned to the Ravenshire case is Honoria Gresham."
"Judge Gresham?" Frederick gasped slightly. "Why her? Do the Ravenshires have a death wish?"
"Sources say Talia personally requested her and already sent gifts to smooth the way," Gideon replied.
"Excellent!" Frederick instantly perked up. "Did we get their defense strategy?"
Damien pulled out a file. "Perjury and colluding with arms dealers. By the time this trial is over, the Ravenshire family will be crippled, if not completely destroyed."
"Hahahaha..."
Let the trial begin. He couldn't wait to see the Ravenshires cry.
Suddenly, the three men exchanged looks and burst into laughter, already tasting their imminent victory.
