Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 680

The banquet was hosted in the Main Hall.

As this doubled as a housewarming, the guests had naturally prepared lavish gifts.

Bianca and Aurelia took a stroll around The Hibiscus Court. Pointing at the empty space connecting to the backyard wall, Bianca said, "We could build a pool over there. It'd be amazing during the summer."

Vivienne glanced over. In her previous life, she had built a white glass conservatory in that exact spot, filling it with an ocean of blooming peonies.

For some reason, a flood of memories washed over her, completely pulling her gaze in.

After being cast out of the family by Alaric, she had sought refuge here. Onyx Manor had been both her salvation and her gilded cage.

The past was the past. Building a pool actually didn't sound like a bad idea.

Vivienne was just about to agree when Caspian walked over with a warm smile. "If you want a pool, we can build it near the colonnade in front of the main courtyard. Adding a waterside pavilion would be lovely. I've already arranged to have an acre of flowers transplanted here. We can build a white glass conservatory right in the middle of it. By next spring, you'll be able to see the first blooms."

A recreation of the past?

Vivienne was stunned, looking up at Caspian.

"A sea of flowers?" Aurelia pondered the idea. "That sounds absolutely beautiful."

Her heart suddenly cracked open. Those words were like a floodgate releasing years of repressed emotion.

Even though it was the same sea of flowers, these blooms would be different. They were blooming a full seven years early. And this time, Bianca and Aurelia were still here to see them.

Vivienne nodded. "Let's go with Grandpa's plan." She then turned to Aurelia. "Next year, we'll watch the flowers bloom together."

Aurelia agreed with a smile. Bianca squeezed her way between them. "Not just next year! I've already picked out my courtyard. We're going to watch them bloom together every single year!"

Caspian's eyes crinkled with joy. At his age, there was nothing he wanted more than to see his descendants happy and united around him.

As evening fell, Onyx Manor welcomed two unexpected guests.

Theron, carrying an armful of exquisitely wrapped gifts, immediately stepped forward to pay his respects when he saw Caspian in the garden.

She thought for another moment. "The culprit is usually the person you least suspect. Aurelia... do you think your dad is the mole?"

"..." Aurelia's brow twitched. "Don't be ridiculous. That's absolutely impossible."

"What are you guys talking about? What mole?"

The three girls were deep in discussion when a head suddenly popped into their circle.

"..."

Vivienne was the first to react, looking around in surprise. "Mina? What are you doing here?"

Mina lifted her chin haughtily. "You have a lot of nerve asking me that. Why didn't you tell me it was your birthday? You didn't even send me an invite. That's messed up."

The three girls exchanged glances before settling back into their seats.

Looking a bit awkward, Mina hesitated for a second before pulling a bank card from her pocket. "Here. Happy birthday."
