Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 694

It was exactly who he thought it was.

Amadis's lips curled into a sneer. The police really knew how to pass the buck, calling in the heavy artillery for this mess.

Alaric gave a curt nod, his face an emotionless mask. "Acting Executive Officer of The Academy of Military & Governance, Alaric Ravenshire. Dispatched by the Directorate to investigate the mutual brawl on Winterseek Street."

Titania scowled. "What do you mean? I was the one brutally assaulted! How is that a mutual brawl?"

"Based on the medical reports, your injuries are merely slightly more pronounced than the others," Alaric replied evenly. "Everyone involved sustained varying degrees of trauma. Therefore, categorizing this as a mutual brawl is factually accurate."

"You—!"

Knowing exactly who she was and still daring to speak to her like this? Titania couldn't figure out his background. She sneered, turning to Amadis and switching to her native tongue. "Who the hell is this?"

Alaric shifted his gaze to Amadis.

Silence stretched. Amadis ground his teeth, lifting a lazy hand to salute Alaric. "Officer."

He had enrolled two years before Titania. Back then, he thought he was untouchable. He walked into The Academy thinking he owned the world, only to realize he had walked straight into the most terrifying generation of cadets in history.

The military hierarchy was absolute. Alaric outranked him. Even as a prince of a neighboring empire, Amadis had to bow his head on Athelvia soil.

Seeing Amadis submit, Titania's face clouded with fury. Amadis was a rabid dog; he hadn't even flinched when Prince Lyre held a gun to his head back home.

Alaric checked his watch, his expression deadpan. "My dispatch window closes in ten minutes. I suggest you cooperate, Your Highness."

Titania's eyes darted. "You said your name was Ravenshire?"

Alaric didn't react.

"I demand a different investigator," she snapped.

Alaric nodded. "That is your right. Stand by."

Without another word, he turned on his heel and walked out.

That was it?

Before Titania could even process his abrupt exit, the door was shoved open again, this time with distinct irritation.

The new arrival didn't bother waiting for permission. He strolled in, his wild, rebellious eyes sweeping over her bruised face with thinly veiled disgust. His mouth was completely merciless. "Where's the victim? All I see is a swollen pig."

Silence.

Julian Ravenshire?!
