Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 700

Someone deeply close to him?

Vivienne froze as a terrifying thought struck her.

By that point in the timeline, Julian had completely cut ties with the Cavanaughs. The only people closest to him were Grandma Cavanaugh and... his fiancée at the time.

Could it be... that the one who sold Julian out was Lana?

"Vivi? Are you okay?"

Vivienne had been lost in thought the entire walk. As they stepped into the Main Hall, she still hadn't snapped out of it. Bianca noticed something was off and gently tugged her hand.

Caspian had been informed of the matriarch's arrival well in advance, so he deliberately had the family dinner arranged in the Main Hall. The dishes were already served, and place settings for their guests were laid out.

Grandma Cavanaugh approached Caspian with a warm smile, exchanging pleasantries and seamlessly introducing Jade and Lana into the conversation.

Jade needed no introduction—she had been raised at the matriarch's knee, and her manners and etiquette were impeccable. But surprisingly, Lana also held her own, acting with perfect grace and poise. Even Caspian offered his genuine praises.

During the meal, the conversation was almost entirely dominated by Caspian and Grandma Cavanaugh. Talia helped serve Caspian, while the younger generation quietly ate their food.

Once the plates were cleared, the old woman smiled, her eyes sweeping over the young heirs at the table. "No wonder they say half the prodigies in Stormhollow belong to the Ravenshire family. You're truly blessed, Caspian."

They say grandparents are the most fiercely protective. Hearing her praise his grandchildren, Caspian didn't deflect with false modesty. "It's because they push themselves."

Lana covertly studied the Ravenshires. She had initially thought Vivienne and Julian were exceptional outliers. But looking at Alaric and Cyril, she finally understood why the Bellamys, despite their immense wealth in Westbay, were merely considered "rich," while the Ravenshires were a true dynasty. Their foundation was entirely on another level. A single family producing three such formidable heirs was something ordinary elites couldn't even dream of.

Grandma Cavanaugh nodded in agreement before finally steering the conversation to her true purpose.
