Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 711

The resort had arranged an independent courtyard villa for the Ravenshire heirs. Following a traditional layout, the east and west wings served as communal lounges and entertainment areas, while the north and south corridors housed exactly six private rooms.

The grounds were elegantly landscaped and filled with pear trees. Though it was past peak blooming season, the distinct, fresh scent of pear blossoms gave the courtyard a lingering charm.

The girls picked the south wing facing the lake. Vivienne's room was originally supposed to be in the middle, with Bianca's on the left, but because of the mountain of luggage, the staff mixed up the rooms. Neither of them cared, so they just swapped.

Vivienne hated feeling sticky. The moment she got to her room, she took a hot shower. She had just changed into fresh clothes and stepped out of the bathroom when the doorbell rang.

Assuming it was Bianca, she didn't bother getting properly dressed. Wrapping her wet hair in a towel, she shuffled to the door in her turtle slippers.

"What do you—"

Lana was just raising her hand to knock again when the door swung open. She was caught off guard by Vivienne's breathtaking, makeup-free face and froze, completely stunned.

Vivienne paused as well, dropping her lazy drawl. "Can I help you?"

Lana stared at her face, slightly dazed. "Miss Lexton, you look absolutely stunning. Truly gorgeous."

Every girl loved being called beautiful, especially when the compliment was delivered with such genuine awe. But that only applied if the person praising you hadn't previously stepped over your body with a look of pity.

Vivienne smiled politely. "Thanks."

Lana waited a second, and when Vivienne offered nothing else, her smile stiffened slightly.

Realizing her slip, Lana tucked a stray hair behind her ear and took the initiative. "Miss Lexton, it's like this: the hotel is organizing a welcome party tonight, and we're discussing the theme. We're just waiting on you."

Vivienne tilted her head toward the east wing. "We?"

"Yes. Julian and Lia are both there." Lana probed carefully. "Miss Lexton, since we're all out here on vacation together, having a good time is the most important thing, don't you think?"

Vivienne nodded. "Sure."

Lana smiled, taking a slight step back, her attitude utterly accommodating. "Shall we head over then? Everyone has been waiting for a while."
