"You little bastard. If you weren't worth so much money, I'd have sent you to hell a long time ago. Let's see you run with both legs blown off!"
Crash!
Bang!
The roar of thunder completely drowned out the gunfire.

Meanwhile, at The Pearwood Courtyard.
Bang, bang, bang!
Three heavily built men in black swept the area, firing their weapons blindly. Bullets ripped through the sheets of rain. Several bodies already lay scattered across the courtyard, their blood staining the fallen pear blossoms a vibrant red.
Wesley Crain held the final line of defense with grim determination. "Alaric, it's been an hour."
Alaric Ravenshire looked more haggard than he ever had in his life. His hair was plastered to his forehead, hiding the storm brewing in his eyes.
Wesley hated to push, but he had to. "Alaric, we need to leave. As long as you're alive, there's always a chance to strike back."
Alaric's eyes were slightly red, but his voice was chillingly flat. "Five more minutes."
Wesley paused. Then, he tossed his last fully loaded pistol to Alaric.
"Alright. I'm with you to the end."

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
The river raged fiercely beneath the stone bridge as four rapid shots rang out from the bank.
The four Raiders barely had time to blink before their chests exploded. They dropped straight into the mud like discarded puppets.
Cyril Ravenshire emerged from the underbrush beneath the bridge, leading a small group. The students immediately began checking the bodies.
"Targets neutralized, sir."
"Take their weapons."
