Evening fell. Caspian returned early to Northwing Court and instructed Cedric to summon the entire family to the Main Hall for dinner.

Caspian waved off the question dismissively. "Cedric, pour the tea."

"Yes, sir," Cedric replied, quickly stepping out of the hall to retrieve it.

As he stepped into the corridor, he nearly collided with Dorian and Cyril.

Cedric immediately stood perfectly straight, offering a polite smile. "Dorian. Cyril."

Dorian gave a curt nod. "How is Julian?"

"He'll make a full recovery, but he'll need to remain in the hospital for a while to rest."

"Good." Dorian shot a quick glance toward the Main Hall as Cedric immediately stepped aside to let them pass.

Dorian and Cyril walked into the grand room just as the conversation lulled.

"Dad."

"Grandpa."

Caspian nodded, gesturing to the empty chairs beside him. "Sit."

Dorian shot Cyril a look, silently ordering him to take the seat closest to Caspian. Cyril quietly obeyed.

Caspian's gaze swept over them, suddenly stopping dead. "Cyril, what happened to your face?"

His expression instantly darkened as he snapped his attention to Dorian. "Did you hit him?"

"..." Dorian froze, looking completely caught off guard. "No—"

"Have you all completely lost your minds?!" Caspian exploded, aggressively slamming his heavy cane straight into Dorian's arm.

"Do you honestly believe that just because you're fathers, you can act like absolute tyrants?! These children were raised right under my roof, and you think you can just beat them or kill them on a whim?"
