Cheated Once Cherished Forever: The Billionaire's Bride novel Chapter 108

"Hold it!" Queenie barked, lifting a hand.

The two men, who had already started pulling down their pants, stopped abruptly. They turned toward her, frustration crossing their faces.

"Ms. Klein, you can't be serious…" one muttered.

They had been more than ready, and getting stopped mid-act didn't sit well with them. Still, Queenie was the boss, so they grudgingly pulled their pants back up.

Queenie couldn't care less about them. Instead, she lifted her phone and walked over to Isabella. The camera pointed straight at Isabella's face. Her red-rimmed eyes shimmered with unshed tears, and her fragile expression evoked a pang of pity.

Yet, the sight only made Queenie's temper flare.

"What did you just say?" she asked coldly.

Isabella struggled to sit up, looking for something to cover herself. However, her clothes had been ripped to shreds by the two men. So, she shifted uneasily on the floor.

Queenie's patience snapped. She kicked Isabella and shouted, "Speak up! Don't you dare try to play games with me."

Isabella chuckled self-deprecatingly. "I wouldn't dare, Ms. Klein. But could you at least let me put something on first?"

As she spoke, she pointed to one of the men's jackets lying on the floor. It disgusted her, but it was better than sitting here half-naked.

"You…"

Queenie shot a look at one of them, and he nudged the jacket toward Isabella with his shoe.

Isabella quickly grabbed it, then wrapped it tightly around herself.

After that, Queenie folded her arms. "Now, tell me. What's really going on between you and Theodore?"

Isabella got to her feet before explaining, "Theodore and I are in a marriage of convenience. We do have a marriage certificate, but we agreed to end our arrangements after a year."

"You're not lying to me, are you?"

Queenie's eyes lit up with anticipation. "So, you're saying Theodore only sees you as me? Then, why didn't he just marry me?"

Isabella shook her head. "You'll have to ask him that yourself. Maybe he has his reasons."

Queenie thought it over. Eventually, she nodded. "Don't worry. I'll ask him myself. As for you…"

Isabella froze. The moment she caught the wicked glint in Queenie's eyes, she knew that the danger was far from over.

Fortunately, while keeping Queenie distracted, she had secretly dialed a number on her phone. She had done it purely from memory and didn't even know if the call had connected. But it was her last chance.

Sure enough, Queenie's next words proved Isabella's fears right.

"You've kept Theodore to yourself long enough. It's time you paid for it."

Then, her gaze flicked toward the two burly men, her voice dripping with venom as she added, "She's all yours. Enjoy yourselves."
