Damn Giselle!
Was she completely out of her mind?
Vanessa had made it perfectly clear, yet Giselle hadn't absorbed a single word.
She immediately called Max Ames and explained the emergency.
Knowing the severity of the situation, Max agreed and hurried to the CEO's office to report to George Grant.
"That little fool!" George's face darkened, a sharp pain radiating through his chest. He ordered Max to track Giselle down while he pulled out his phone to call her.
The call connected.
"Dad? I'm busy. Whatever it is, it can wait until I get back to the office," Giselle said dismissively.
By this time, Giselle had already arrived at Victor Vance's suburban villa.
"Giselle, you've really outdone yourself! Stealing keys, breaking into offices, forging signatures, stealing the company stamp—do you have any idea you're breaking the law?"
"Is this how I raised you? How did the Grant family end up with someone so incredibly stupid and reckless!"
Giselle paled at the harsh reprimand, biting her lip as she fired back.
"Why are you yelling at me? You're just playing favorites! You always take Vanessa's side! You support everything she does, but no matter how hard I work, you never give me a single word of praise!"
"Vanessa was badmouthing me to you again, wasn't she? She's just terrified I'll succeed, outshine her, and take her place in the company!"
