Claimed by the Crown Heir novel Chapter 150

Victor froze, a cold dread sinking into his gut.

What was happening?

Alistair was notorious for keeping a low profile and never interfering in other people's business. Why was he suddenly stepping in to defend the Grant sisters?

Victor forced a laugh. "This is just a petty dispute, Mr. Howard. We wouldn't want to bother you. We can sort it out ourselves!"

Having said that, he gestured to his men.

The bodyguards aggressively moved to grab Giselle and Vanessa once more.

"Victor, you have the nerve to touch someone who belongs to me? It seems you no longer want to exist in Sterling City." Alistair's voice was frigid, his dark eyes bottomless. A mere glance from him carried a crushing, godlike dominance that leveled everything in its path.

Victor's chest tightened under that lethal gaze, his smile freezing on his face.

He glanced at the Grant sisters, his eyes finally landing on the exceptionally stunning, utterly unbothered Vanessa.

The realization hit him.

No matter how powerful a man was, he could never escape the allure of a breathtaking woman!

This eldest Grant daughter was truly formidable to have caught Alistair Howard's eye and secured his absolute protection.

With this, the Grant family would rocket to the top of Sterling City's hierarchy. No one would dare cross them again!

As much as he hated letting a cash cow like Giselle walk free, he knew full well he was no match for Alistair. If he pushed this, he'd be wiped off the map in Sterling City, left with nowhere to hide.

After his expression shifted rapidly a few times, he wisely opted for a placating smile.

"It's a misunderstanding. A total misunderstanding... This was my fault. I overstepped my bounds with Giselle!"

He waved at his men, growling under his breath.

"Let's go!"

What absolute rotten luck.

The group fled the bar in utter disgrace, scrambling away like a pack of beaten dogs.

Watching them leave, Giselle finally exhaled, bursting into uncontrollable tears of relief.

"You can let go now,"

Vanessa said evenly, turning her head to look at Giselle, who was still crushing her arm in a death grip.

"Vanessa, my face and my body... it all hurts so much," Giselle cried, refusing to release her hold.
