After replying to the text, Charlotte turned off her phone and went to sleep.

She slept soundly.

The next morning, she turned her phone back on, and several texts popped up one after

another.

Charlotte saw they were from Matthew. She didn’t even feel like opening them. She

deleted them all.

When she got to the last one, her finger froze on the screen. For a long time, she didn’t

react.

Her account had received a transfer of two billion five hundred million.

Charlotte laughed. “Being able to join Cloudstart Tech would be my honor. I didn’t plan

on it before, but now… maybe I can consider it.”

When she married Matthew, the reason she gave up her career was the Russell family’s
