Chapter 379 Julian’s That Rough?
When she looked up, she saw a note beside the bed, written in Julian’s handwriting.
There was warm water on the dresser, and she could ring for room service if she was hungry.
He also told her all the staff were from their home country.
Quinn wasn’t hungry. She just didn’t have the energy to move.
Every inch of her felt weak and sore.
Julian had been like a starved wolf the night before, taking his time with her, completely consumed.
She never should have come.
She buried her face in the pillow and whimpered softly.
Before long, she drifted off to sleep again.
Julian returned a little before noon.

He opened the door quietly, his footsteps muffled by the carpet. He took off his coat, washed his hands, then sat on the edge of the bed and tucked the blanket higher around her.
He leaned down and kissed the back of her neck.
Quinn wasn’t in a deep sleep anymore.
The gentle touch tickled, and she nuzzled the pillow, murmuring, “Stop…”
She was already traumatized.
Julian knew exactly how to push her limits.
Julian smiled silently, stripped down, and slid into bed, pulling her into his arms.
He’d worn her out completely the night before-he wouldn’t push her further now. He just wanted to hold her.
It felt perfect. He never wanted to let go.
Quinn stirred the second he wrapped her in his embrace.
She opened her bleary eyes. “You’re back.”
Julian kissed her eyelids. “Still sleepy? Are you hungry?”
“Starving.” Quinn answered honestly. “Did you eat?”
“I’ll eat with you,” Julian said. “I’ll have them send up lunch.”

He made a quick call, then pulled her close again. “Just five more minutes. Then we’ll get up and clean up, okay?”
Quinn didn’t mind staying like this, as long as he didn’t try anything else.
Still unclothed, she looped her arms loosely around his neck.
Julian gently moved her hands. “Wait a second.”
He sat up, pulled off his shirt, and lay back down, letting her press bare skin against his.
He let out a deep, satisfied sigh.
Quinn melted into the warmth too.
But soon, she tried to sit up.
Julian held her waist, keeping her still.
Quinn looked up at him. “You…”
She could feel him hardening against her.
“Don’t worry about it,” he said. “I just want to hold you.”
Quinn was terrified he’d lose control again.
He chuckled. “Relax. I won’t touch you. I’m taking you out this afternoon.”
“Aren’t you working this afternoon?”
“Not when you’re here,” Julian said. “I’ll show you the sights and find good food.”
Julian had been scheduled to fly back home two days later.
But with Quinn there, they stayed overseas for another full week before returning.
Their nights were filled with intense, intimate closeness.
Mornings, Julian headed to work, energetic and focused.
Afternoons, he spent every minute with her, exploring and trying local specialties.
Quinn usually slept straight through the morning.
She could never understand how Julian had so much stamina.
He was busy all day, yet still kept her up half the night-even more relentlessly than back home.
Still, their love only grew sweeter.
The day after they returned, Lucy came over to see her.

As soon as they met, she grinned. “Wow, you look totally different. Love suits you.”

Quinn blushed furiously and quickly changed the subject. “Lucy, I brought you gifts. See if you like them.”
Lucy didn’t care about presents. She leaned in. “C’mon. When you went overseas to see Julian, was he all over you like a wild man?”
Wild man didn’t even cover it.
Julian had been completely insatiable.
Quinn gave her a helpless look. “Do we really have to talk about Julian?”
Lucy laughed. “Isn’t that what girl friends do? Talk about each other’s boyfriends?”
“But he’s your cousin!”
Quinn could never bring herself to discuss this with her.
Even if he hadn’t been Lucy’s cousin, she would’ve been too shy.
But Lucy was dying of curiosity.
If Quinn had been dating anyone else, she might not have cared this much.
But this was her cousin her once cold, uninterested, completely detached cousin.
Now he was a completely different person with Quinn. How could she not be curious?
Even without Quinn saying anything, she could guess.
She’d already caught them kissing once. The way he’d kissed her was like a fire finally catching flame.
But she knew Quinn was too shy to talk about this openly.
As they chatted, Lucy suddenly tugged down the neck of Quinn’s shirt.
Quinn wasn’t prepared. The dark hickey just below her collarbone was clearly visible.
Lucy gasped. “Whoa! Julian’s that rough?”
