Divorce Him, Then Dazzle novel Chapter 276

He had already instructed his private chef to prepare premium ingredients and have them delivered to Catheleen's place.

When Camilla was discharged, he would go over and cook for her himself.

Then there was the matter of her divorce.

He had been texting Owen Gates just a moment ago.

Owen had quietly returned to the country, attended a mandatory family dinner, and was now essentially confined to a suburban villa, strictly forbidden from leaving.

However, Lambert hadn't mistreated him. Whatever Owen wanted to eat or do to pass the time had been fully accommodated.

Upon receiving Lambert's message, Owen immediately understood the assignment and reached out to Daniel White.

Daniel was currently spiraling in frustration.

With Barbara abroad, he had no concrete way to verify if she had a boyfriend.

If she denied it, he was completely helpless.

But deep down, paranoia gnawed at him. Barbara was stunning and brilliant; there was no way she didn't have men throwing themselves at her.

If she met the right guy, she wouldn't hesitate to date him.

The more Daniel thought about it, the more frantic he became.

He even began to feel that Camilla's ultimatum made perfect sense.

Only by securing a divorce and becoming a free man could he rightfully pursue Barbara.

Otherwise, he was trapped forever as her brother-in-law.

He refused to accept that!

When Owen Gates called, Daniel didn't recognize the number at first. But a quick glance at the caller ID told him it was someone important.

He hurriedly answered.

"It's Owen Gates," the voice stated.

Daniel was floored. "Young Master Gates? You're back in the country?"

Why would Owen Gates personally call him?

Owen had zero interest in small talk. "What's the situation with your wife?"

Camilla had always claimed to love him. And now? Not only was she demanding a divorce, but she had actually been hooking up with someone else behind his back!

No man could stomach that kind of humiliation!

"If you refuse, you can kiss your company goodbye," Owen stated coldly. "I'm not exaggerating. This guy could crush your family's business without lifting a single finger."

Owen abruptly hung up.

Daniel's mind reeled. He couldn't fathom how Camilla, of all people, had managed to hook up with such a terrifyingly influential billionaire.

He needed to confront her face-to-face!

He immediately grabbed a burner phone and dialed Camilla's number.

Fortunately, Camilla's ringtone was turned down low. The moment it started buzzing, Lambert swiftly snatched the phone from the nightstand and rejected the call.

Around two in the morning, Camilla's brow furrowed. She was sleeping fitfully.

The surgical wound was throbbing.

She cracked her eyes open, greeted by the dim glow of the bedside lamp. Lambert was still sitting right beside her.
