Chapter 110 Why Don’t You Marry Me Instead?

This kind of loyalty was truly rare, and it touched Quinn deeply.

“Thank you, Miss Hart,” Mia said, her voice filled with gratitude and joy.

“I should be the one thanking you,” Quinn replied. “When I left the company, you followed me without hesitation. You knew it would be tough at first, but you never gave up on me.”

During her darkest days, Mia had stood by her side, unwavering in her trust.

“Miss Hart, I chose to follow you because I knew we’d have a bright future together,” Mia said firmly. She was certain she’d made the right decision.

Quinn smiled. They didn’t say anything else and got back to work.

That evening, Quinn treated Mia and Leo to dinner.

Her only goal was to bring the two of them closer and make Leo notice Mia.

“Miss Hart, why is Mr. Harrison here?” Mia asked in surprise when they arrived at the reserved table.

She hadn’t expected to see him.

Quinn grinned. “I invited him. Don’t be nervous. Just go with the flow. And stop being so shy. Show him how amazing you are.

“You’re beautiful and kind. Any man would be lucky to have you!”

Quinn’s words gave Mia the confidence she needed. She truly believed Mia was an exceptional woman.

“Hello, Mr. Harrison,” Mia greeted politely. He was their business partner, after all.

But Leo was a laid-back person. He didn’t care much about formalities or small details. He nodded in response, a friendly smile on his face.

“Alright, take a seat,” Quinn said warmly. “Dinner’s on me tonight. Order whatever you want.”

Leo had helped her a great deal lately. If he hadn’t agreed to collaborate on the patent project, her studio never would have stabilized so quickly, nor would it have gained such credibility.

His company’s strong reputation had given her peace of mind.

“Leo, thank you for taking care of my assistant Mia at your company these past few weeks,” Quinn said sincerely. “And thank you for helping me out so much. This dinner is my way of saying thanks.”

“Quinn, since when have you become so formal with me?” Leo chuckled. “With my resources, this was nothing. I was happy to help.”

He’d done it willingly, never expecting anything in return.

“I know, but you’ll always be my hero,” Quinn said with a smile.

“After I broke up with my ex, I felt so lost. I’m glad I met you. I never wanted to rely on my family or worry my parents anymore. But you solved so many of my problems. I had to thank you properly.”

Quinn spoke genuinely, her gratitude evident.

“If you’re that thankful, words aren’t enough,” Leo said, his smile turning playful, like he had something up his sleeve. “I want to see some real sincerity.”

“Name it,” Quinn replied without hesitation. “If it’s within my power, I’ll make it happen.”

They’d known each other for years-familiar enough to joke around freely. They never took each other’s teasing seriously.

“You know I have everything I need,” Leo said, pausing for effect.

“But… why don’t you marry me instead? I’m single, after all.”

His tone was straightforward-his words firm.

“Are you kidding? Don’t you know I’m getting engaged soon?” Quinn laughed. “And I’ll handle your love life. I’ll find you an amazing girl!”

She didn’t take his words seriously. They’d joked like this before.

But Mia, watching from the side, could tell there was truth behind his playful tone. He was serious.

She’d noticed it a long time ago. Leo was in love with Quinn-deeply in love.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have stuck around for all these years. He wouldn’t have reappeared right after she broke up with her ex. That kind of devotion was rare.
