Done with Cheater’s Coldness, Shine in Rival’s Arms
Chapter 211 I Have You Back
When Quinn arrived earlier, she’d taken a quick look around. This place was nothing like their old city. It felt cold and lifeless.
She hated seeing Hazel so down. Guilt gnawed at her-this mess was partly her fault.
“Come back with me. I’ll fix everything for you,” Quinn hid gently. “You’re not happy here. You’re not yourself anymore.”
Quinn saw it all, and she felt responsible. Even if Hazel and Kieran didn’t work out, she’d made them friends. She wasn’t going to abandon her now.
“Okay.”
Hazel let herself be led away. She trusted Quinn completely, even if she wasn’t sure what she was doing.
She’d been lost for weeks, torn between her love for Kieran and her fear of her past. But she’d come this far. There was no turning back.
On the drive home, Quinn texted her brother. She told him the good news.
“I’ll be waiting,” Kieran replied immediately. He couldn’t believe his sister had pulled it off. He was finally going to see Hazel again.
This was his second chance. He wasn’t going to waste it.
Soon, they were back in their hometown. Kieran was already waiting for them at a quiet restaurant.
“I’ve got work to finish,” Quinn said, smiling. “You two talk. I’ll leave you alone. We’ll all have dinner tonight.”
“I fell for you because we click. I love your spirit, your o timism. That’s why I want to be with you.
“If you’ll have me, I’ll stay by your side forever. We’ll get married. We’ll have a family, a beautiful home, kids of our own.
“I’ve imagined it all, a hundred times. I thought it was al just a dream, a regret. But now… I have you back.”
Kieran took her hand in his, his eyes filled with love and honesty. He knew he couldn’t live without her. She was different from anyone he’d ever known.
The weeks apart had felt like an eternity. Now that she was back, he’d never let her go again.
“Kieran, I’m not ready yet,” Hazel admitted. “But I want to try. I want to get used to being with you again. I’ve missed you so much. I just thought once we broke up, that was it-no more chances.”
