Chapter 30 Airport Showdown

“Okay! I’ll leave now, Felix!” Lila said reluctantly.

Felix nodded casually, but when he turned around, he froze. He saw a familiar figure-a back he’d memorized, a silhouette that was etched into his bones. Even from behind, he recognized her instantly. It was Quinn, the woman he couldn’t stop thinking about.

He rushed toward her without a second thought, completely forgetting about Lila behind him.

He’d been trying to find Quinn for days, and his frustration had been growing. He never expected to run into her at the airport. She must have come here for me.

Hmph. She acts so tough with her words, but deep down, she still couldn’t live without me.

Felix felt a surge of pride, then ran toward her with a smile.

But before he could reach her, he stopped short. The woman he’d been longing for was walking arm-in-arm with a tall man. The man was wearing a baseball cap, with long legs and a broad frame. He and Quinn looked surprisingly compatible together.

Rage and jealousy exploded inside Felix. He stormed over, blocking their path. “Quinn! No wonder you’ve been so stubborn lately. You already found someone new!”

He was furious and heartbroken, a mix of emotions churning inside him. Even though Quinn had been opposing him lately, he’d always thought she was just throwing a fit. It wasn’t until today that he realized she’d moved on.

Quinn smiled coldly. How laughable. They’d been together for years, and he’d never even known she had a brother.

Back then, she’d cut ties with her family for him, leaving home to be with him. Felix had just assumed she was an ordinary girl from a simple family. He’d never bothered to learn about her family or try to win their approval.

Now it hit her: Felix had never truly cared about her.

Kieran stared at Felix coldly. What a coincidence-he’d barely gotten off the plane and already

run into the man he’d come to confront.

“So what if I did? Aren’t you about to get married too? What right do you have to judge me?” Quinn said, deliberately looping her arm around Kieran’s, pretending to be intimate.

Felix trembled with anger, his fists clenched so tight that his veins popped. He wanted to punch the man next to Quinn in the face.

She pulled Kieran toward the exit, but Felix’s anger flared up again at her indifference.

“I said I forgive you! What more do you want? Don’t push your luck!” He chased after them, grabbing Quinn’s arm instinctively.

But Kieran pushed him away roughly. “Get lost!”

Felix threw a punch at Kieran’s face, but Kieran caught his fist easily.

“You wanna fight?” Kieran said coldly, exuding an air of authority like a king. Felix looked like a clown next to him.

“This is between me and her! Stay out of it, or I’ll fight back!” Felix gritted his teeth in pain, his face turning red, but he refused to back down.

“She’s my girlfriend. How is this none of my business?” Kieran snapped. “I’m warning you-stay away from her from now on. Otherwise, I’ll beat you up every time I see you!”
