inutes later, his assistant confirmed it. Quinn was behind everything.
Felix snapped. He was like a rabid beast, consumed by rage.
He called Quinn right away.
“The number you’re calling is currently busy…”
Quinn had hung up on him. She didn’t want to hear his voice.

Felix stormed up to Quinn’s office. He waited there, determined to confront her the second she arrived.
Meanwhile…
Quinn and Kieran were eating at the restaurant Peyton had booked. The food was amazing. Both of them loved it. It was clear Peyton had put thought into it.
After dinner, Quinn took Kieran to her hotel and got him a room.
“Rest first, Kieran,” she said. “It’s late. We can go to the company tomorrow.”
“It’s still early,” Kieran replied. “Let’s go now. We’ll wrap this up fast. Mom and Dad are waiting for you at home.”
He was eager. Quinn hadn’t seen their parents in ages, and he was ready for a family reunion.
Their parents had specifically told him to bring Quinn home as soon as possible.
Seeing how anxious he was, Quinn nodded. She was just as ready to move on.
“Okay. Let’s go to the company.”
When they arrived, Felix spotted them. He charged toward Quinn’s office like a maniac and kicked the door open with a loud crash.
“Felix, are you out of your mind?” Quinn snapped, her face cold.
“Quinn, I know you’re mad at me,” Felix snarled. “But take it out on me–not Lila! Why did you get her kicked out of school? She lost her degree because of you!”
“I never knew you were this sneaky,” he continued, his eyes blazing with fury. “You’re heartless. I was blind to ever care about you!”

Chapter 32 The Explosive Confrontation
Finished
Quinn smiled, amused. “You’re upset because she stole my patent to cheat her way to a degree? I thought you knew. You’re only finding out now–do you even care about her?”
Felix saw her smirk and grew even angrier.
She’s enjoying this.
“Quinn, that’s enough,” he growled. “I’ll let this slide–on one condition. You go talk to the school. And apologize to Lila in person.”
“Sorry, no,” Quinn replied. “She got what she deserved. No one’s to blame but herself.”
“You’re ruthless!” Felix shouted. “You’re happy watching everyone suffer, aren’t you?”
“You did all this to get back at me? To get my attention?” he rambled, his voice unsteady. “Is this what you wanted? Lila defended you so many times. I feel bad for her.”
Felix was desperate. Without Quinn’s help, Lila’s academic fraud would ruin her future–school, work, everything. It would be a permanent stain.
That’s why he was so frantic.
“How kind of her.” Quinn said coldly, unimpressed. “I’m just taking back what’s mine. Why are you so worked up?”
“You-!”
“You what?” Kieran cut him off. “Are you done? If so, get out. Don’t interrupt our work.”
He stepped in front of his sister, worried Felix might lash out.
“This is between me and Quinn,” Felix snapped. “Stay out of it!”
I’ve held back at the airport, but now this guy is pushing my buttons again.
“You wanna fight?” Kieran challenged, sizing Felix up.
He was a kickboxing champion–he wasn’t scared. Besides, he’d been wanting to stand up for Quinn for
ages.
“Bring it on!” Felix roared.
Before he could finish, he threw a punch. But Kieran dodged it easily, then hit back, knocking Felix to the ground with a fist to the face.
Felix saw stars. It took him minutes to recover.
“I’ll make sure you can’t walk out of here!” he snarled, ready to fight back.
But he was no match for Kieran. The second he tried to stand, Kieran pinned him down.
Kieran barely used any force, but Felix was left a mess. He didn’t even want to waste energy on someone like
him.
