She wanted to get away from this man as soon as possible. She never wanted to see him again for the rest of her life.

“I’m not leaving,” Felix mumbled. “You have to forgive me today. I won’t go until you say yes. And I’m staying right here with you!”

Felix stumbled forward, trying to push past them.

Doris felt her heart ache seeing her daughter being harassed like this. She’d wasted so much time and feelings on him, and now he was still clinging on.

It was too much!

In the end, Doris picked up the phone, ready to call the police.

Seeing her phone, Felix quickly stepped in front of her. He was terrified she’d actually call the cops and get him arrested.

But he wasn’t going to give up until he got what he wanted. His mind was focused on making her come back

with him.

“Mrs. Hart, I…” Felix began.

“Felix Cole! How dare you come to my house and harass my sister! Now that you’re here, you’re not leaving easily!” Kieran stepped in, his voice cold.

Just then, Kieran returned home and saw the scene unfolding.

He noticed his mother and sister looked upset. It was clear they couldn’t get rid of this man.

Kieran stepped forward and punched Felix hard in the face.

Felix, already drunk and unsteady, fell to the ground. He looked completely disheveled and humiliated.

This man had made the whole family hate him. Kieran was more than happy to teach him a lesson today.

During his time away, Kieran hadn’t been idle. He’d been quietly manipulating things behind the scenes. Felix’s company was now just an empty shell, and no one wanted to work with them anymore.

Kieran would never let anyone hurt his sister—especially a man who’d betrayed her.

But instead of fighting back, Felix kept moving forward.

“Kieran, I know I messed up with Quinn. I know everyone hates me. I’ll let you vent. Hit me as hard as you

want!

“Just let Quinn forgive me. I’ll do anything-even die for her!”

A stream of blood trickled from his mouth, but the alcohol had numbed him. He felt no pain at all.

He crawled weakly toward them, begging them to hit him more.

“Kieran, stop hitting him!” Quinn said coldly. “We’re not his family anymore. What’s the point of hitting him? It’ll just dirty your hands!”

“Kieran, let’s go home. If he wants to stay at the door, let him,” she added, turning to leave with her family, closing the door behind her.

At that moment, Felix felt the woman in front of him was a complete stranger.

Is this really the same Quinn I knew?

How could she become so cold and heartless, and so unforgiving? Have all our past feelings disappeared?

He couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t accept it.

In his heart, Quinn had always been the most important person to him. As for Lila, maybe he’d just been confused for a moment.

He’d never realized this before. He’d been selfish and greedy, thinking Quinn would always be there for him.

But now that he’d lost her, he realized he couldn’t live without her.

It was too late to say sorry now.

Quinn knew exactly how to deal with someone like Felix. No one knew him better than she did.

“Quinn, you…” Kieran tried to say.

“Kieran, I told you we shouldn’t waste our time on him. He wanted to stay here to prove his sincerity? Well, I’ve seen it. But I won’t go back to him. Don’t worry, I’m fine.”

Quinn’s resolve was unwavering. There was no room for negotiation, and it didn’t sound like she was saying this out of anger.

She was completely clear-headed now, and all she wanted was to get away from this man.

“Felix, if you keep hanging around my door like this, I’ll make sure your company goes bankrupt within three days. I’m serious!

“From now on, don’t ever come near my sister again. Otherwise, I’ll teach you a lesson every time I see you!”

Kieran never held back when it came to protecting his sister. Especially when it came to a man who’d hurt her!

Normally, he was easy to get along with-gentle and polite to everyone.

But not anymore. Felix was the first person who’d made him hate someone so deeply. Just seeing him made Kieran feel annoyed.

When Quinn and Felix first got together, her parents had opposed it. Kieran had actually investigated Felix and hadn’t liked him at all.

But since his sister had liked him, Kieran hadn’t dared to say anything. He’d even tried to help persuade
