Chapter 75
Chapter 75
JASPER’s pov
I tightened my grip around my phone when the call was over, and in a fit of rage simply tossed the phone across the floor.
“what’s got you knickers in a twist?” Camille lazily asked from the bed and I turned to her in a fit of rage.
“I thought you said that Amelia’s bastard of a pup was dead?” I asked angrily and she raised a brow, like she couldn’t still understand the cause of my anger.
“Because he is?”
“Wrong!” I snapped, and balled my hands in fist. “He isn’t wrong. My very trusted source just told me that Amelia’s pup Is alive and very much well. They have a freaking heir!” I shoved my hand into the wall as my vision began to blur.
“You need to calm down, Jasper. All this anger isn’t good for you!”
I turned to her and groaned, “Knowing that pup is alive isn’t good for me! Knowing that you told me a lie isn’t good for me!”
“A lie? I told you what I thought I knew!” She got out of bed and slowly walked toward me, “I heard Amelia’s pregnancy was high risk, every one believed she wouldn’t survive it if she kept it, so we just assumed he would do the sensible thing and terminate it.”
“So you spoke to me based on assumptions?” I suddenly only saw red, and slapped her.
A loud crack echoed when my hand made contact with her skin, and it gave me a great sense of satisfaction.
I heard her whimper as she fell back against the bed.
“Jasper, how dare you?”
“You dared me, you dumb b*tch! Giving me fake news, building my hopes up.” I felt a surge of anger just thinking about it, and slapped again.
She let out a cry, and tried to fight back, and it only made things more interesting for me. I couldn’t take out my anger on the people I hated the most, but I could presently take out my anger on a fighting Camille. So I did.
She sulked for a few hours after, while I expended the rest of my restless energy on training.
By the time I was done, my anger had been regulated, and Camille had a dark bruise on her fac
“I thought of something.” Camille said, after I came out of the shower, and I raised a brow at her.
“Another attempt to give me false information.
“Of course not!” She spat, and I nodded.
I
would
heal.
“Alright then, let’s have it. Let it be good.”
“We all hope Amelia would save herself and terminate her pregnancy. Since she didn’t, then we could baby and terminate him ourselves?”
Now she had my attention, “I see. And how do you suppose we do that?”
“easy. Ryder is probably
as
well, just take the
sumed with being a father right now. He’s definitely on guard and on the lookout. So we take advantage of a time when Ryder. Then we can steal the baby from that weakling Amelia, probably main her in the process.”

Chapter 75
“Ahh. I actually like this idea.” I said approvingly, “You know why I like you, Camille?”
“Why?” She said sweetly, and submissively.
“Because you’re a very intelligent woman. But call my witch will you? I need to hear what she has to way abomat our suprem plan to destroy Ryder’s life as he knows it.”
The witch arrived an hour later and after telling her about Ryder’s child and how we planned to take him, she brought or w clear globe and some tarot cards.
“What are those for?”
“You want to know if your pursuit will be fruitful?” She asked and I nodded, “Then I’m about to find out.”
She set up the globe and drew out some cards, before closing her eyes and uttering some spells.
As she spoke the spells, I watched as the globe grew cloudy, and the red. Then she suddenly gasped and opened her eyes.
“That child is a very peculiar child. He is powerful, even for an infant. If you even want a shot at destroying him, then you must act fast.” the witch said mystically, and showed me one of the cards.
“So I can destroy the pup?” I asked, and the witch nodded emphatically.
“And you must do it quickly, otherwise, he will grow up to destroy his enemies… and you won’t be exempted”
“Thank you.”
I waited till the witch was gone before I discussed the next phase of the plan with Camille.
“You get on my nerves most of the time, but I can’t disregard the fact that you’re a great ally. So I’m going to let this little slip up about the pup being alive, this time.”
She rushed toward me and hugged me tight, “Oh, thank you.” she said happily.
I allowed the hug for a second more before pulling her away from me.
“But this isn’t the time for affections. We have an ambush before us. Did You hear what that witch said? That boy is going to be very powerful. We have to kill him before he reaches his potential.”
“Yes, I heard her.”
“We’ll need help. I’m going to assemble the rogues. I’m sure they’d want to exact their revenge on Ryder as much as 1 do
“Not for free though. And you know how they are, they are hard to control.”
“True. But they are also in pain right now. They are outcasts, some of them are even mad. But our witch can give them a fresh start to be newborn wolves. I offer them that, and they won’t hesitate to do my bidding.
“Yes.” Camille murmured, “that does sound like a good idea.”
“It is a great idea.” I said. Reaching out, I ran a thumb across her bruised cheek. “You should really cover that up
I said and turned away. I had a rogue army to assemble.
As planned, I gathered as many rogues as I could, and offered to free them of the pains they endured from being outcast. I offered them rebirth.
“Obviously not for free!” one of the rogues countered. He looked rough around the edges, and I reckoned he saw himse the leader of the rest of the rogues.
