The visitor was Diana!

But the call Sophia received yesterday had an unfamiliar voice on the line. Could it have been someone Diana asked to call?

She was afraid to call her directly, fearing she wouldn't want to meet?

What in the world did Diana scheme to meet her for?

Sophia walked in and sat across from her, her voice cool, "You wanted to see me?"

Diana smiled, "Yes, I was worried Sophia might have misunderstandings about me and refuse to see me, so I had someone else call. I hope you don't mind."

Sophia couldn't help but admire Diana's nerve. To think she seduced Robin, got caught red-handed by her, and now could sit there calmly, saying she was afraid of misunderstandings!

Sophia couldn't fathom what went on in people's hearts, let alone what made this woman tick. Was she shameless, or just incredibly thick-skinned?

She replied evenly, "Anyone who knocks is a guest. Whether I mind or not doesn't stop us from doing business. Just tell me what you want."

"That's the thing!" Diana's voice was soft, her smile gentle, "Robin and I were discussing, and we're planning on visiting home soon, together!"

Diana emphasized the last part before continuing, "It's the perfect chance for both our families to discuss our engagement. Maybe after getting engaged, we'll head back to J City. So, I thought of getting the engagement rings ready."

She looked at Sophia with a bright smile, "I've heard Sophia is incredibly talented in jewelry design. I'd like you to design an engagement ring for Robin and me."

If it weren't for her upbringing holding her back, Sophia was tempted to throw her hot coffee right in Diana's face.

She'd seen and heard about women luring men away before, but Diana's audacity was on another level!

She had already stolen Robin, showed no sign of shame or guilt, yet had the gall to flaunt it as if nothing had happened!

No wonder Robin had been jealous!

Jason turned to Diana, "Miss, you're looking to design some jewelry?"

Diana's eyes curved in a smile, softer and sweeter in Jason's presence, "Yes, I'd like to commission an engagement ring."

"Before we start, may I know what Ms. Maggie prefers? Diamonds, sapphires, or perhaps emeralds?" Jason asked calmly, "We can tailor the design to your taste."

Diana pondered for a moment, "Diamond, please."

"Of course!" Jason called his assistant to bring over samples of diamonds, "Ms. Maggie, take a look and let us know which one you like. We'll incorporate your choice directly into the ring design!"

Diana quickly picked a diamond, "This one looks good."
