He started the car and pulled away from the Lamont estate.

Lambert asked, “Where are we going?”

“To reward Pot & Kettle. I’m taking you somewhere nice.” Manley smirked, the obsidian stud in his earlobe glinting coldly.

Manley took Lambert to a club called Blue Oasis.

The moment they walked in, five or six hostesses, arranged in advance by Manley, swarmed them, surrounding Lambert.

“Book me a flight to C City for tomorrow morning,” he told his assistant.

Just as he finished, the elevator doors opened. Manley pocketed his phone, stuck one hand in his pocket, and stepped inside.
