Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2876

As everyone sat down for breakfast, Georgia suddenly asked Gabriel, “Gab, do you have work today?”

Gabriel glanced up. “No, I’m off today.”

Georgia smiled. “I’d originally planned to go shopping with Sylvia today, but I woke up with a bit of a headache. Could you go with her instead?”

Sylvia, holding her spoon, paused briefly. They hadn’t discussed shopping at all the night before, but she stayed quiet and continued sipping her soup.

Gabriel looked at Sylvia, then nodded calmly. “Sure, that’s fine.”

Only then did Sylvia look up and smile. “Thank you!”

Gabriel replied, “You’re welcome.”

Old Mr. Quintin asked Georgia with concern, “How come you’ve suddenly got a headache? Should we call a doctor?”

“It’s nothing, just an old issue. I’ll be fine after I lie down for a bit,” Georgia replied.

Old Mr. Jarvis smiled warmly. “Then just rest. Let Gab keep Sylvia company.”

Georgia smiled as well. “Sorry to trouble you, Gab!”

Old Mr. Jarvis added, “It’s what he ought to do.”

Old Mr. Quintin frowned slightly, glancing around at everyone, sensing that something was off.

After breakfast, Gabriel drove Sylvia out.

As they merged into traffic, Gabriel asked, “Where to?”

Sylvia thought for a moment. “Now that I’ve reunited with my grandfather and my mom, I haven’t bought them any gifts yet. Why don’t you help me pick out a few presents for them?”

Gabriel seemed doubtful. “Isn’t that a bit much?”

Sylvia countered, “I’m their granddaughter and daughter—giving gifts is just being thoughtful. Why would that be too much?”

Gabriel shot her a look, then nodded. “Alright, it’s up to you.”

Sylvia smiled and turned to look out the window, her expression relaxed and charming.

From a distance, a man in a baseball cap and black t-shirt pretended to be on a video call, secretly snapping photos of the two together. Afterward, he ducked into a corner to review the shots.

He’d taken over a dozen pictures and was trying to select the ones that looked the most intimate.

Suddenly, the light in front of him dimmed. Startled, he looked up to find Gabriel’s imposing figure towering right in front of him.

Gabriel’s voice was cold as ice. “Hand over the phone.”

The man’s eyes darted, and he bolted.

He was a professional private investigator—escape and evasion were his forte. But today, none of his tricks seemed to matter in front of Gabriel.

He’d barely moved before Gabriel grabbed his shoulder. Pain shot through his right side, as if his shoulder was about to be crushed.

He was completely immobilized, cold sweat breaking out on his face as he looked at Gabriel.

“The phone,” Gabriel demanded coolly.
