Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3204

Catherine gave her a chiding smile. "Don't romanticize freedom too much. You might be crying to come home before the month is even up!"

Norah tilted her head, grinning. "If I'm crying to come home, it'll only be for one reason: I miss my Grandma too much!"

Catherine scoffed fondly. "You always know exactly what to say to butter me up."

"So it's a deal," Norah said. "I'll call my parents later to let them know. You're in charge of convincing Grandpa!"

Her parents would be an easy sell, but she knew her grandfather would be stubborn.

Thoroughly charmed by her granddaughter, Catherine agreed without hesitation. "Fine, I'll talk to your grandfather."

"You're the best!" Norah cooed, squeezing Catherine's arm affectionately.

Since the decision was made, Norah immediately began her apartment hunt.

During lunch, Gillian and Jenny were gossiping in the break room. "Jenny, did you find an apartment yet? I heard Norah is looking for one too."

Jenny looked surprised. "I thought she said she wasn't renting?"

Gillian shook her head. "I'm not really sure."

Jenny let out a mocking laugh. "She probably thought the places I found were too expensive and wants to find a cheap dump. She could have just told me. I would've offered to cover more of the rent. Why make up some lame excuse about her grandmother? Acting like she's some wealthy heiress with strict family rules."

Gillian chuckled thinly. "If she were a wealthy heiress, why would she be working here? She rushed right back to the office the second her leg healed. She's probably desperate for the paycheck."

Jenny snorted in amusement.

"We get off early today," Gillian noted. "Norah is definitely going to look at apartments. Do you want to go see what kind of place she ends up renting?"
