Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3218

"I feel so much better after throwing up. The nausea is gone," Magdalen reassured her.

Estelle's delicate features radiated pure, unadulterated joy. "Magdalen, I am so incredibly happy for you!"

Catching Estelle's infectious excitement, the tangled knot of anxiety in Magdalen's chest finally unraveled into soaring happiness. She let out a breathless laugh. "I'm going to be a mom. Do you think it's a boy or a girl? It has to be a girl. I literally just claimed Henson as my future son-in-law at lunch today, and tonight I find out I'm pregnant. It's definitely a girl—she heard me making plans!"

Estelle laughed out loud. "Is she really that magical?"

"Oh, absolutely!" Magdalen declared with utter confidence.

Estelle's heart swelled. "When Morrison gets home and finds out, he's probably going to be so excited he won't sleep a wink."

"I was originally going to call my mom right after telling you," Magdalen admitted. "But if I do, she definitely won't sleep tonight either. I'll just wait and surprise her in the morning!"

Estelle smiled warmly. "If Godmother finds out, she'll probably drive over there in the middle of the night."

"Exactly! That's exactly why I can't tell her yet!"

The two women stayed on the phone for a long time. By the time Jonathan walked into the bedroom, the brilliant smile hadn't faded from Estelle's lips.

Jonathan wrapped his arms tightly around her waist from behind. His bathrobe hung loosely off his broad shoulders, and water was still dripping from his dark hair, giving his striking features an incredibly seductive edge. "Who were you talking to? You look radiant."

Estelle turned in his embrace and threw her arms around his neck, her voice trembling with excitement. "Magdalen is pregnant!"

Jonathan raised a brow, genuinely surprised.

Estelle hugged him tighter. "She's going to be a mom!"

Holding her close, Jonathan could feel the vibrant, vibrating joy humming through her body. He was thrilled for their friends, but deep down, a tiny sliver of disappointment tugged at his heart.

When was their baby going to come?

He couldn't resist pressing a lingering kiss below her ear, chuckling darkly. "You're so happy for Magdalen. Wouldn't you be even happier if it were you?"

Estelle's lips curved into a soft, alluring smile. "In my heart, Magdalen having a baby is just as wonderful as me having one."

Jonathan had already taken two work calls and slipped back into bed to hold her.

He loved watching the soft, vulnerable flush on her skin right as she woke up. Whenever he was beside her, she would instinctively cuddle closer, seeking the warmth of his chest.

That absolute dependency was something Jonathan was completely addicted to.

Nearly half an hour later, Estelle's eyelashes finally fluttered. She opened her eyes, gazing up at him with a drowsy, sleep-hazed expression.

Their eyes met. Even the morning sunlight warming Estelle's bare shoulder felt incredibly intimate. Jonathan leaned down and captured her soft, pink lips in a slow kiss.

Estelle closed her eyes, sliding a hand inside the opening of his robe.

But as she arched her back, a deep ache flared in her lower spine. She winced, gently pushing the man away and melting back into the mattress. "Stop teasing," she murmured lazily. "I'm exhausted."

"Didn't sleep well?" he murmured, playfully nipping at her jawline.

Even with her incredible stamina, her muscles burned and her entire body felt utterly drained. She was too exhausted to even string a sentence together.
