Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3286

Back at the Lamont estate, Norah handed the collectible figure she'd bought to Henson. He was in the middle of his homework, but he immediately paused to examine the intricate details of the figure. He looked up with a bright smile. "Thanks!"

Norah noticed a freshly graded test paper spread out on his desk. She walked over and picked it up. "How have your grades been lately?"

"No real improvement," Henson replied lazily.

Norah looked at the math test. It was a perfect score, plus ten extra credit points from the final bonus question.

He was right. He'd gotten a perfect score last time, and a perfect score this time. No improvement at all.

Staring at the paper, she suddenly remembered the last tutoring session she'd had with Gonzalez. She'd joked that after teaching him for so long, it was time to give him a test to see how he was doing.

She never expected that would be the last time they sat down together for a lesson.

Henson looked up and saw Norah zoning out. "Is there a mirror on that test?" he teased.

Norah set the paper down. "Get back to your studying. Estelle is on her way back, so I'm going to wait for her in the living room."

Henson nodded. "Mom and Dad are coming back today too. They'll be home by noon."

Norah already knew. Her mother had called her the day before.

Janice Harper and Alcott Lamont returned from their two-week business trip, and Estelle and Jonathan arrived as well. That evening, the whole family went out for dinner.

Millard had booked a private dining room at an upscale hotel. The atmosphere was elegant and quiet, perfectly suited for a family gathering.

The expansive suite featured a lounge area and a dining space. It was elegantly furnished and incredibly comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking view of the city's glittering skyline. Sliding open the glass doors led to a private terrace, where the scent of blooming flowers mingled with the gentle evening breeze. Sitting on the patio swing to take in the night view was a luxury in itself.

Janice sat in a wicker chair on the terrace, chatting with Estelle. She shared the differences between her pregnancies with Norah and Henson, along with a wealth of parenting advice.
