Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3315

Norah gasped in surprise. "That fast?"

Gonzalez smiled faintly. "I knew it was you."

Norah looked slightly embarrassed. "Don't get the wrong idea. I actually did it for myself."

Gonzalez frowned. "Didn't you say you were making up for what happened the other day? How did it go from being for me to being for yourself?"

Norah didn't quite know how to spin it, muttering softly, "Think whatever you want!"

Gonzalez chuckled, pulling out his phone to send a message.

Seconds later, Norah's phone chimed with a notification. She looked at the man in astonishment.

His dark eyes held a profound depth. "That's the contact information for the new project manager. Give him a call tomorrow."

Norah's eyes lit up, her smile brilliant and sweet. "Thank you, Mr. Hanson!"

In a great mood, Gonzalez replied playfully, "Don't mention it. It's a privilege for the Hanson Corporation to work with Ms. Norah."

Norah couldn't hold back her smile. She took a massive bite of food, her cheeks puffing out adorably, making her look incredibly vibrant and full of life.

Suddenly remembering something, she swallowed and asked, "Oliver lost his most vital right-hand man. Will he hold a grudge and come after you?"

"I've got the heiress of the Lamont family backing me. Why would I be scared of Oliver Hanson?" the man teased, a smirk playing on his lips.

Norah's bright eyes shifted, shooting him a playful glare. She almost told him, "If you've got a sugar daddy, you'd better hold on tight!"

But given their current dynamic, joking like that felt a bit too risky, so she pretended to focus on her food and stayed quiet.

After dinner, it was time for their tutoring session. As she was explaining a concept, the man leaned closer and closer. The distinct scent of mint and tobacco rolling off him made it nearly impossible for her to think straight.

She grabbed Circe and plopped the cat right between them, her face deadpan. "Lean in any closer, and class is over!"

There was a morning meeting scheduled anyway, so Norah had the business department head handling the Hanson Corporation project brought in.

During the meeting, Norah announced they were heading to the Hanson Corporation today, requesting Zane, Jenny, and the business head to accompany her.

Jenny's eyes flashed. She exchanged a quick look with Zane and smiled in feigned surprise. "The Hanson Corporation actually agreed to meet with us?"

Norah gave a serene smile. "Yes. Hard work pays off!"

Jenny scoffed inwardly. They just agreed to a meeting, yet she was acting like the project was already signed, sealed, and delivered. If Jenny didn't already know that the Hanson Corporation had handed the project over to Vitesse Inc., she might have actually fallen for it!

After the meeting wrapped up, Jenny bumped into Zane in the breakroom.

Zane looked puzzled. "Why would the Hanson Corporation suddenly agree to a meeting?"

"Didn't you hear our great Manager Norah? 'Hard work pays off.' She probably had to pull a million strings just to get them to see her." Jenny sneered dismissively. "If she just gave up on the project, she'd be a laughingstock in front of the whole department. By getting a meeting, she's at least trying to save face."
