Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3343

Sara stared at him in disbelief. "Are you out of your mind?"

He glared at her.

She looked around the beautiful floral arch and the floating balloons, a touch of envy in her voice. "It is really pretty, though. Wonder if I'll ever get treated like this."

"If the guy chasing you doesn't know how to set it up, I'll help him," Adrian declared grandly.

Sara let out a dry laugh. "Gee, thanks."

When Norah got back home, her mind was a mess. Something felt deeply wrong.

At seven o'clock, Henson knocked on her door and leaned lazily against the frame. "My school has a soccer game this Friday. I'm playing defense. Families are invited to watch. You in?"

Norah looked up, her response a beat too slow. "Sure. I'll come cheer you on."

Henson frowned, eyeing her actions. "Why are you packing?"

She slipped her laptop into her bag. "I'm going back to The Eden Apartments."

He raised an eyebrow. "I thought you weren't going back there."

She kept her eyes down, but her expression remained steady. "I changed my mind."

Leaning casually against the doorway, Henson chuckled softly. "Knew it. Don't be so blind this time around."

Norah looked up. "What?"

He smirked. "Mom left early this morning. Don't forget to tell Grandma you're leaving, or they'll think you ran away from home."

Norah couldn't help but smile. "When I'm not here, behave yourself. Keep Grandma happy."

Henson stuffed his hands into his pockets. "You should be telling Estelle that."

Norah let out a quiet laugh.

After finishing her packing, she had the driver take her bags to the car while she went to say goodbye to her grandmother.

The staff mentioned the old lady was in her grandfather's private study. As she approached, she saw the door was slightly ajar. Just as she reached out to push it open, she heard her grandmother's voice.
