Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3348

"Ouch!"

Norah let out a soft gasp. Her cheeks instantly flushed scarlet, and she threw her arms around his neck, burying her face so he couldn't see it.

Gonzalez rubbed her shoulder, a dark, husky chuckle rumbling in his chest. "Why aren't you as bold as you used to be? You used to steal kisses whenever you could. Now that I'm letting you have all you want, you start hiding."

Norah clung to him tightly, the corners of her eyes tinted pink, but her heart was blooming with pure joy.

He was right. She never had to steal a kiss again!

She could kiss him whenever she wanted!

Gonzalez turned his head and pressed a kiss against her pale, flushed earlobe. "I always worried you were just acting out of childish infatuation," he murmured, his voice low. "I thought you only liked me for the novelty of it, obsessing over me because you couldn't have me, and that the moment we got together, you'd get bored of me."

"Because I'm honestly a very dull man. Outside of guns and fighting, I don't know how to do anything else."

A massive lump formed in Norah's throat. "Then why did you come after me when I forgot you?" she asked, her voice thick.

He had rejected her so firmly before, acting so cold toward her. Did a car accident suddenly make him fall in love with her?

That was what she had feared most—that he was only trying to make amends out of guilt.

Gonzalez went silent for a moment before speaking in a low, gravelly voice. "Probably because... without you, I really was going to die in the dark."

Norah's heart fluttered violently. She leaned up slightly, taking his face in both hands. Her misty eyes stared directly into his, as if trying to look straight into his soul, to scatter the dark clouds within him and bathe him completely in her light.

She took the initiative, capturing his lips in a lingering, tender kiss.

The man closed his eyes. Almost instantly, he took control. The kiss became as fervent as the man himself, exploding out of a lifeless void. It was a scorching heat that threatened to ignite her from the inside out.
