Trevor froze in sheer terror. He stumbled backward and spun around to make a run for it.

Just as he yanked the door open, Gonzalez's tall, imposing figure blocked the exit. Without a word, Gonzalez delivered a brutal kick square to his chest.

Trevor flew backward, crashing awkwardly onto the plush carpet. He clutched his chest, groaning in agonizing pain.

Simon's breathing turned ragged. His face was a mask of cold fury as he slowly closed the distance between himself and Hannah. Raising his hand, he struck her across the face with everything he had.

A sharp slap echoed through the room.

Hannah was knocked sideways by the force of it. She cupped her stinging cheek, her entire body trembling in absolute terror.

"You vicious tramp!"

Simon grabbed her by the collar and slapped her again.

"Simon, I was wrong! I had a moment of weakness!" Hannah collapsed to the floor at his feet, desperately clawing at his hand. Her cheeks were already swelling with dark bruises as she sobbed hysterically. "Simon, I really made a mistake!"

"How long... how long have you two been doing this?" Simon's face twitched with raw, unadulterated rage.

Trevor suddenly let out a dark sneer. He staggered to his feet, swaying slightly as he fixed a venomous glare on Simon. "Let me tell you the truth. Hannah and I were together long before she ever met you. Ever since I joined the company, we've met up every single week. She's spent more time in my bed than she ever spent serving you!"

"Shut up!" Hannah whipped her head around, glaring at Trevor like a deranged lunatic.

Trevor ignored her entirely, his eyes locked on Simon. "She doesn't love you. She only loves your money. Thirty years ago, you thought you got drunk and forced yourself on her? It was a setup."
