Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3536

Carson sent the private room number to her phone. When Marina arrived at 9th Mansion, she went straight inside. Pushing open the door to the room, she noticed the smell of alcohol wasn't too heavy. The lighting was dim, and it was incredibly quiet inside. Carson was sitting alone on the sofa, holding his phone.

Marina walked over and sat on the edge of the coffee table, looking at him skeptically. "Are you really drunk?"

Carson looked up, his gaze burning into hers. "I really am."

Marina glanced at the scattered empty bottles nearby and asked,

"Why is it just you?"

The man was wearing a light-colored V-neck sweater. His striking face looked a bit pale, and only his eyes betrayed a hint of intoxication. He spoke in a deep voice, "They all left."

Marina nodded. "Let's go home."

Carson leaned lazily against the back of the sofa and reached out a hand toward her. "Pull me up. I can't get up."

Marina stood up and offered him her hand.

Carson grabbed her hand and gave it a hard tug. Caught off guard, Marina stumbled forward, falling right against his chest.

Colliding with his solid chest, Marina almost gasped out loud. Being this close, their eyes met, allowing them to see each other clearly.

He took the opportunity to wrap an arm around her waist, raising his other hand to stroke her cheek. His gaze was dark and mesmerizing. "Did you miss me? I've been thinking about you all day."

Marina's breathing hitched. "Carson, don't use being drunk as an excuse to seduce me."

He stared straight at her. "Then will you let me seduce you?"

Marina took a deep breath. "Are you going home? If not, I'm leaving by myself. I'm tired and I want to go to sleep."

She stood up and offered him her hand again. "Be good, let's go home."

Carson was cooperative this time. He held her hand, stood up, and followed her out the door.
