Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3563

Out in the hallway, they bumped into Trixie Bell, who had just come upstairs looking for them.

She stared at the battered group in shock. "What happened to Summer?"

"And Marina, where's your phone? I called you but it kept ringing."

Marina suddenly realized her phone was still back in the private room. She gave Trixie a quick explanation and turned to go retrieve it.

"Wait here. I'll get it," Carson commanded, grabbing her wrist before striding back toward the room himself.

Back inside, Freddy was cowering in a dark corner, pulling out his phone to call for backup. But when he looked up and saw Carson returning, absolute terror took over. Assuming Carson was back to finish him off, his survival instincts kicked into overdrive.

"Mr. Foster, I swear I never laid a finger on Marina! Not even once!"

"Please, just let me go!"

"I'll walk the other way the second I see her, I swear!"

A flicker of surprise crossed Carson's bottomless eyes, confirming a suspicion he'd been holding onto. He scooped Marina's phone off the floor and frowned in disgust. "How could she have ever been into you? Her taste was atrocious."

Feeling a surge of inexplicable annoyance, he shot a cold look at his men. "Don't forget about this piece of trash in the corner."

With that, he turned and walked out.

It was obvious Summer had ingested something she shouldn't have. Carson called the floor manager over to assess her condition.

The manager, having seen it all, gave Carson a grim nod. "It's a new synthetic party drug these guys love to use to prey on girls. A heavy dose can cause fatal hallucinations, but it looks like she only took a small hit."

Thankfully, it didn't act as an aphrodisiac; it just rendered the victim weak and paralyzed.

The manager dispatched an employee, who sprinted off and quickly returned with a tiny vial.
