Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3602

After New Year's Day, there were only forty-some days left until the Lunar New Year. Shops on the streets had already started drumming up the holiday atmosphere.

With a little over a month to go, everyone was busy making a final push for their performance targets. Marina and Carson also started getting busy, often working overtime until late and bumping into each other in the elevator.

On weekends, no matter how busy they were, they would push aside their social engagements to return to the Foster family estate and have lunch with Miranda. In the afternoon, the two would retreat to the study. Marina would practice her calligraphy while Carson sat across from her reading a book.

By evening, they would head over to the Evert family home together. Usually, Carson would be invited to stay for dinner.

During dinner that day, Jude asked if they had any plans for marriage.

Carson replied that they would hold the wedding after the New Year.

Marina looked over in surprise but didn't question him in front of everyone.

Rhiannon and Jude were absolutely thrilled, playfully scolding Marina for not telling them.

Carson quickly interjected, "My parents will come over personally to discuss the wedding arrangements. We originally wanted to tell everyone then."

"If you're having it after the New Year, that's coming up really soon. We need to start preparing the dowry," Rhiannon said, immediately getting excited again.

After dinner and tea, when Marina was walking Carson to the door, she finally asked, "When did I ever agree to get married?"

Carson reached out and pulled her into his arms, pressing her tightly against his chest. "Just wait for my proposal. I know you'll say yes."

"You're full of yourself!" Marina scoffed lightly, but the corners of her lips curled up in a place he couldn't see. She looked up and noticed how bright and clear the moon was tonight.

On a weekend afternoon, she had a phone call with Carson. In the past, they often went ten days or half a month without seeing each other, but now, a single day apart made them realize just how much they had to say to each other. They ended up talking on the phone for over an hour.

After hanging up, Marina packed her things, getting ready to return to her apartment.
