What Trixie saw was Colby handing a bouquet of flowers to Marina, and Marina actually taking them to admire.

Marina turned her head in shock. "Trixie, what are you doing here?"

A flash of panic crossed Colby's face.

His reaction only fueled Trixie's hysteria. "Marina, you're stealing my boyfriend!"

"We're supposed to be best friends, and you're making moves on my man?"

"I knew there was something off about you two from the start! Flirting right in front of my face! Summer told me I was overthinking things, but it turns out my gut feeling was right all along!"

Marina's expression turned ice-cold. "What flirting? What nonsense are you spouting, Trixie?"

Colby also panicked. "Trixie, stop sprouting nonsense!"

"Did you think I didn't see you two at the party?" Trixie screamed, seemingly having lost all sense of reason. "Marina, you're unhappy with the marriage your family arranged for you, and you just can't stand seeing me happy, can you? Stringing along that Foster guy, hooking up with Freddy, and now coming here to seduce my boyfriend!"

Smack! Colby slapped Trixie hard across the face.

The sharp sound left all three of them stunned.

Trixie's mouth fell open, staring at Colby in utter disbelief. Her voice trembled. "What do you even like about her? Her money, or just how cheap she is?"

"Shut up!" Colby growled, his face looking awful.

Marina's face went completely pale. She didn't bother arguing with Trixie anymore, turning only to Colby. "Take out the design sketches you made for Trixie's birthday surprise and show them to her!"

"If she doesn't trust me this much, then what's the point of a birthday surprise!" Colby said angrily.

With that, Marina briskly walked out of the flower shop.

She found her car, and just as she buckled her seatbelt, Summer Carlyle called. "Marina, what happened? Trixie just called me, crying and screaming, saying all sorts of awful things about you. We got into a huge fight!"

Marina briefly explained what had happened.

Summer said in a frustrated tone, "Does she not have a brain? She's been badmouthing you to me for a while now, suspecting there was some shady relationship between you and Colby. I shot her down every time and didn't tell you because I didn't want you to get mad. I can't believe she's this delusional."

A chill washed over Marina's heart as she asked, "Was she tracking Colby?"

When they had that minor car accident last time, Trixie had been right there at the scene. And now, while they were picking out flowers, she had shown up almost immediately again. Could it all really be a coincidence?

"She secretly installed a tracker on his phone," Summer confirmed.
