Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3606

Marina had already told Carson she was working late today. Since he also had a business dinner and would be home late, she decided not to mention she was attending a class reunion.

She pushed through her workload, finally clocking out at eight-thirty, and hurried out of the office.

The reunion was held at Midnight Bar. According to Summer Carlyle, Sean Shepherd had just landed a massive project, so he was going all out, sparing no expense and booking the VIP suite.

By the time Marina arrived, most of her J City classmates were already there. Several people stood up to greet her. Sean led the pack, opening his arms wide and pulling her into a tight hug. "You came by yourself. Did you miss me?"

Caught off guard with a bouquet of flowers in her arms, Marina couldn't help but laugh. "I'll deal with you later. Let go before you crush my flowers!"

Sean pulled back with a cheeky grin. "I hugged everyone else. Can't play favorites!"

Summer laughed. "Funny, I don't remember getting a hug."

Sean immediately held his arms out to her. "No problem. Let's do it again so you don't forget."

Ignoring their banter, Marina walked over to their old homeroom teacher, Mr. Coleman. He was already on his feet, his bespectacled face beaming. "Little Marina, you've gotten even prettier!"

Marina handed over the bouquet with both hands. "And you look younger than ever, Mr. Coleman!"

Mr. Coleman offered a warm, grandfatherly smile.

Marina took a seat next to him. Glancing across the room, she noticed Trixie Bell sitting on the opposite sofa. Trixie was already staring at her. Her gaze was cold and heavy, and she quickly looked away.

It had been a long time since everyone had gathered. Despite the years, the familiarity was still there. As they reminisced about their school days, the atmosphere grew lively.

Gradually, Mr. Coleman noticed the unspoken tension. He lowered his voice and asked Marina, "You, Trixie, and Summer were practically joined at the hip in school. Why aren't you speaking to her now?"

Marina offered a helpless smile. "We had a bit of a misunderstanding a few days ago."

Mr. Coleman nodded understandingly. "If it's just a misunderstanding, clear the air. Friendships from school are precious. You should cherish them."

Not knowing how to explain the situation, Marina simply nodded.

Sean plopped down next to her, casually draping his arm over the back of the sofa behind her. "Did you just snitch on me to the old man again?"

That single sentence instantly transported the room back to their high school days.
