Chapter 48 First Customer

Not a single explanation was given.

Victor was left standing there alone, completely lost.

Ten minutes later, at LoveSea Bistro, the moment Cassian pulled in, a sharp-eyed staffer sported the chr and reported it over the intercom.

By the time they stepped out of the car, Warren was already there, bowing and hovering attentively.

“Mr. Drayven, I’ve got it,” Warren said, rushing to close the door. Then he noticed her. He froze for half a beat before switching gears instantly. “Mrs. Drayven, welcome, You can call me Warren.”

“You’ve got the wrong person,” Seraphina said immediately. “I’m not.”

Warren’s smile turned knowing. Trying to fool him? Not a chance.

“I’m really not,” Seraphina insisted.

No one around believed her. They kept addressing her the same way.

She reached out and grabbed Cassian’s arm, her voice low but firm. “Explain it. Tell them to change how they address me.”

“Over my dead body,” Cassian said calmly.

From the very first time he heard that title, the corner of his mouth had never dropped. His eyes were soft, unmistakably pleased.

The onlookers turned away shyly. Oh wow. They were witnessing something sweet.

Seraphina opened her mouth. “You-”

Warren jumped in quickly. “Alright, alright. We’ll change it. Boss’s wife.”

Boss’s wife?

Her brows knit together.

Cassian leaned in helpfully. “I own this restaurant.”

Seraphina went quiet. Thanks. That is obvious.

Warren guided them inside, still bent forward as he spoke. “Any dietary restrictions. Preferences.”

“No restrictions. No preferences.”

“Perfect. Just let us know if you want anything. This place exists for you.”

“For me?” Seraphina echoed, one brow lifting.

“Of course,” Warren said smoothly. “Mr. Drayven once said the first guest he personally brought here would be his future wife.”

Seraphina glanced at Cassian, trying to judge whether that was true.

Cassian was satisfied. He gave Warren a small nod, his voice calm and authoritative. “Good. Triple bonus this month. Three days of paid leave.”

“Thank

you, Mr. Drayven,” Warren said, bowing deeply.

The staff around them could only look on in envy.

When they looked back at Seraphina, their eyes shone like they were staring at good luck itself.

Elsewhere, Lyanna was wrapped against Damian’s side as they walked slowly. Too slowly.

They blocked the path. A girl brushed past them and shot them a sharp look.

Have some manners. If you want to cling, do it at home.

Lyanna didn’t care. She took it as jealousy.

She leaned closer to Damian, smiling sweetly. “Ever since I met you, everything feels unreal. I’m happy every single day.”

Damian tapped her nose affectionately. “So am I.”

Another woman passed by, clearly annoyed. Lyanna huffed inwardly. Go ahead. Be jealous.
