Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 156

Chapter 156

“No, no, no, no, no.” I whisper, as I fall to the ground with Amy clutched in my arms.

Everyone was evacuated into the tunnels while we took care of this, our doctor is down there. I mind-link him to get him up here as soon as possible.

Dallas falls to Amy’s other side grabbing hold of her wound and pressing to keep the blood in. Déjà vu slams into me, we’ve been here before. Covered in her blood, because of the same bastard as this time.

I can’t breathe, I can’t think.

Dallas looks over at me and says something, but I can’t hear him. I can’t lose her not again. Not after everything. I just can’t.

This was supposed to be the end of him, not her. She was so worried about no one else dying, that she didn’t realize what would happen to us if she did.

Dallas is screaming at me now, but he might as well be in another country, my mind isn’t working, I only know because my eyes are. And I can see him yelling, just like I can see Amy’s lifeless body in my arms, while her blood pours out around Dallas’s hands.

Amy’s body starts to lift, and I growl pulling her back to me. No. She can’t leave me.

Mia grabs ahold of my face, pulling it away from Amy’s body. Her face is bright red and coated with tears, then she slaps me across the face.

Pulling me out of whatever trance I was in with a snarl, which has Walker pulling her back and him replacing her. “We have to get her to the hospital, Liam. The doctor’s already on his way. You have to either let go of her or get the fuck up and run!” Walker says sternly, staring at me like he’ll knock me out if he has to.

Which in this case I know he would. They all would. It’s Amy. Their Luna, and I’m slowing us down.

I tighten my grip and stand, not willing to let her go yet, and we all take off. Walker’s already in his car waiting by time we reach his suv and as soon as I slide in with Amy he takes off, the door closing from the wind.

We make it to the deserted hospital in a flash, but I watch Amy’s face the whole time. Willing her to come back to me. I haven’t been able to hear her heartbeat since she blacked out.

We race out of the suv and run into the doors. Luckily, the doctor has already made it here, with a few nurses. The nurses go to grab her from me, but on instinct, I snarl at them both, causing them to back up a few paces.

Dallas stands in front of me, then I feel two sets of hands grab onto me, yanking me back roughly and Dallas grabs hold of Amy. Ripping her from my arms and placing her on the bed.

I’m held down tightly, by three sets of arms now as I thrash to get away. Watching the only girl I’ve ever loved; lifeless body being rolled away from me through the same double doors as before.

The same double doors that we got countless amounts of bad news last time.

As soon as the doors close all the fight leaves my body and I slide to the ground. Not able to be the Alpha I need to be, not able to think about anything other then my Angel coming back to me.

*Dallas’s POV*

My brain is a jumbled mess right now, and I’m having trouble coming up with a plan, but I don’t have an option.

Liam’s destroyed, not thinking with an ounce of clarity passed Amy surviving. I don’t blame him; in fact, I understand on some level.

Mates are everything. Half of the others soul. I know I’d be just as much a wreck as Liam, and that’s without having known Nick since I was born.

And as important as mates are so is the loyalty that comes with protecting the Luna. It’s been my purpose since I was born, and I royally suck at it.

We have to think of something, my mind swirls around an idea. I look over at Hazel.

“Is there anything you can do?” I ask her and she looks at me desperately as her mouth opens then looks over at

Liam.

Watching as he sits on the ground his arms laid on his knees, staring at the door like she’s going to magically walk through it. Walker and Cole sitting next to him, prepared to hold him back if need be. Nick pacing not to far away from him.
