Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 201

Chapter 201

In all the time I’ve loved Liam, I never would have guessed he would do this to me.

But I can’t deny what happened, while lingering pains shoot through my body and I sit crunched over on the ground on top of a mountain.

“Amy.” Liam’s pleading soft voice reaches my ears, and I look down shaking my head. How could he do this to me?

Dallas growls and I watch as his feet step closer to me. “What do you mean, ‘what did you do?’ What did he do?” Dallas growls and I slowly look up at him.

The pain slowly dissolving and I begin to try and stand again. I don’t answer Dallas, letting my eyes do the talking for me. I can’t say the words. I can’t even believe it’s real.

“Amy. It’s not what you think.” Liam claims and I shut my eyes, trying to stop the tears that are falling freely down my face.

Dallas growls and wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me into his chest. “What did you do, Liam?” Dallas grits out.

I can’t look at him. I can’t see his face after what he’s done.

Dallas’s hand around me stays firm, then I hear a growl leave Liam’s throat. “Leave, so I can talk to my mate.” Liam growls, but Dallas doesn’t even flinch. “Leave!” Liam Alpha commands him.

I feel Dallas shake as he tries to fight the Alpha command. Cole steps up beside me, “Liam.” Cole whispers and I hear Liam let out a frustrated grunt.

I feel him move closer to me, his hand grabbing my arm as I pull it away. “Amy, please! Just let me talk to you!” He begs, but I shake my head.

I look up at Dallas, who’s still shaking. His hold on me tightening, like the command will push him away from me and carry him down the mountain.

“I’ll come with you.” I tell him and he pulls me to the side of the mountain and finally he stops shaking.

The command was to leave, Liam didn’t say he couldn’t take me with him.

Dallas throws me on his back and rushes down the mountain. Making going down happen much faster than the coming up.

“Amy!” I hear Liam shout, but I bend my head into Dallas’s neck and pretend I don’t hear him.

After everything we’ve been through.

Dallas takes me to Mia’s house and the door opens as soon as we’re in front of it. Dallas probably having mind- linked them before we got here.

Dallas walks us through the front door as Walker holds it open and Mia walks over to us from the kitchen.” What’s going on?” Mia asks. I jump off of Dallas’s back and walk into her open arms, before tears start flooding my vision again.

“Go to your room.” I hear Walker whisper, and I look up, seeing Aspen looking at me worried and her head turning to glance at the door. “The cloud.’ She mouths to me, and my eyes shoot for the door.

“Close the door, Walker.” I order him, and he instantly does. As soon as the lock clicks shut, Liam’s body slams against it.

‘It’s happening again.’ Cole mind-links us from outside the door with Liam and the door splinters from the force of Liam’s body against it.

Dallas stands in front of me and pushes me back against the wall. Mia grabs my hand and looks over at me worried.

It’s getting worse.

‘Cole. The ring?’ I ask and Cole takes a minute to respond before he finally does. ‘It’s gone. Get Hazel!’ Cole shouts into my head as I hear him grunt outside.

He’s trying to slow him down.

Walker glances at me, then at the back door. “I’m going to help Cole. Keep the doors locked.” He tells us and I look at Mia worried, but she’s long accepted his role. He has to keep Liam safe and he’s anything but right now.

He gives her a quick kiss, before rushing out the back door and Mia locks it behind him.

Dallas’s eyes are focused on the front door. Ready and waiting. “Mia where’s your phone?” I ask her and she rushes over to her purse and throws me her phone.

“Aspen, get to your room and lock the door!” I yell at her and she narrows her eyes before nodding and turning on her heels heading for her room.

I dial Hazel’s number, and she answers on the first ring. “Mia?” She asks, and I shake my head even though she can’t see me. “Liam lost his ring!” I shout through the phone. “I’m coming.” She responds and the line goes

dead.

I take a deep breath, looking at the phone like it holds all the answers, just as the front door shatters and three bodies roll into the house.

Liam’s on his feet instantly, his gaze searching over the room until it lands on me. His eyes narrow and he starts to stride towards me and Cole and Walker groan, trying to get up off the floor.

Dallas pushes me back, then goes to stand in front of Liam. “Liam. Come on. Snap out of it.” Dallas tries reasoning with him, but Liam’s eyes are glazed over. He’s lost to the fog inside his brain.

Cole jumps on his back and Dallas sweeps his leg at Liam’s feet. Liam falls to the ground. Grunting and turning to continue the fight.
