I haven’t moved all day. I know Liam’s still here, he hasn’t left since my freak out. Him and Dallas are both just sitting at the table, watching me… I don’t have to see them to know that’s what’s happening.

Granted their probably mind-linking each other. Keeping me out of it, because they think I can’t handle it, and lets be honest… I can’t.

I don’t know how much more I can handle. I don’t even think I’m handling what I already have. Locking myself in this cell, pretending that I can’t do anything to stop this.

Can I do anything?

I throw the blanket off myself and Dallas and Liam both sit straighter in their chairs and look at me worried. I sit up and look at both of them. “I’m tired of just sitting here, not doing anything to help.” I tell them.

Liam shakes his head, “Angel, you can’t do anything without her knowing what you’re doing.” He tells me standing up and walking closer to the cell.

I stand up and meet him at the bars, “This is all my fault and all I’m doing to help is hide in this cell. I want to do more.” I tell him and he takes a deep breath, looking around my cell, then down at my hands, that have long ago healed. “This isn’t our fault, but what do you want to do?” He asks, and I shrug. “Anything, Liam. I can’t just sit here anymore.

His conflicted eyes meet mine, and mine plead with him. Maybe if I can do something, I can find a way to keep this baby safe. I don’t know if I can stomach any other option, but I know I will.

I know the entity inside my dad wanted his children. What would this witch do if she knew? I know I have to figure something out before she finds out. She can’t know.

“No.” Dallas growls, and we both look over at him. He shakes his head, “No, Aims. He might not be able to say the word to you, but I can.” He stands up and walks closer to us, “You decided this is the best way to keep everyone safe. You said this was the only way to keep the witch away from our plans and we’ve all had to accept. that. I’m not going to allow you to put yourself in danger. Put everyone in danger, because you’re feeling helpless.” He says and we continue to just stare at him.
