Chapter 307
“Our pack is still having some growing pains. I think we should hold the meeting at your pack, and I can send my son and Beta.” I tell Renolds.
With Amy acting the way she is, I’m even more worried about what will happen if they come here.
“No. We need to come to your pack. In order to make this alliance work and you know that. The Alphas won’t care that you guys are fixing what your son broke. We need to see that things are getting back in order. We need to see you, none of us want to deal with your son.” He growls, and I shake my head, frustrated.
Renolds sighs into the phone, “Look, the Alphas are still wary about your son. And you know I take partial blame for what happened to your pack to begin with, if I never would have brought her there…” He pauses, “I’m trying to help fix things, but I need you to meet me half-way, Liam. I know your mate is still ill and we’ll respect that, but they need to see your pack for themselves.” Renolds explains and I let out a heavy breath.
“Fine.” I growl, knowing I can’t get out of this if I want this pack back in the alliance. An alliance Amy was one of the main reasons it formed in the first place. A safety measure… And now a pain in my ass.
“Good. We’ll see you this weekend.” He tells me, “Yeah.” Is all I respond before hanging up the phone and slamming it down on my desk.
“Didn’t go for it, I take it?” Walker says as he walks into the room with Lenny behind him. I shake my head. Said they have to come here.” I tell him and he purses his lips before coming to sit in the chair in front of my desk.

“How are the warriors looking?” I ask him, he sucks in a breath, “Good. Really good actually. I’d say that’s one thing Griffon definitely did right. They’re all trained really well. Even the newer guys.” He tells me and I nod.
He sits back and looks over at Lenny, “Wait for me outside.” He tells him and Lenny nods, then leave easily.
I look back at him, “Everything okay?” I ask him and nods looking over at the window. “Mia went to see Amy.” He tells me, and I sit down in my chair and wait to hear what he has to say. He ticks his tongue. “She’s worried about her.” He tells me and I scoff out a laugh.
“We’re all worried about her.” I tell him and he shakes his head, “This was different. She said she didn’t seem like herself. Almost like she was vacant.” Walker tells me.
