Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 31

Chapter 31

Cole just mind-linked me that Amy was sleeping, I let out a breath of air. She says she doesn’t trust us and doesn’t want us anyway near her. I really don’t get it, but I really don’t understand why Dallas is the last of us she wants to see. Dallas has been there for a while now he was the one who brought her into our group. I feel bad for Dallas, he really doesn’t seem to understand why she’s being like this.

“I think Mia knows more than she’s telling us.” Dallas says, as he paces across the room. I look up and nod. “I’m sure she does, because we know nothing. There’s no way Amy’s told her nothing.” I respond. “We could see if your dad would Alpha command her.” Walker suggests. That’s not a bad idea. My dad wants to know what’s going on as much as us. My eyes widen at the idea, and I race upstairs to my dad’s office, Walker and Dallas in

tow.

I don’t bother knocking and race inside. He looks surprised then amused by us. He chuckles, “What can I do for you boys?” He asks, and we explain our plan to him. He actually agrees and says he’ll make the phone call to Mia’s parents tomorrow morning.

The next day, after the longest day of school, Mia walks in and seems nervous. Not many people get called into the Alpha’s office unless they’re in trouble. She glances over at us with fire burning in her eyes. I don’t even care I’m just excited to possibly get some answers.

My dad stands and greets Mia and her parents and sits back down. “Alright Mia, listen you’re not in trouble. We’re just trying to investigate further into Amy’s attack, and we believe you know more than what you’re saying.” My dad says kindly but still in charge. Mia just nods, still looking extremely uncomfortable. “In light of the fact that we need to solve this problem fast, I’m going to Alpha command you to make sure we get all the information you know, and the information you may have forgotten.” Mia’s eyes go wide with worry, and she turns looking for an escape route, Dallas has already blocked her exit though. She glares at Dallas and chuckles, You’re the last one that should want the information out.” She says to Dallas murderously. Dallas’s face looks confused by her words. Seriously, what did he do?

“Well, on that note, let’s get down to business. Mia, tell me everything you know about Amy’s attack.” He uses his aura, and Mia looks at the ground in submission. She seems to be trying to fight it, trying to stand strong for her friend. The aura is too strong though. She rolls her eyes, and speaks grumpily, “I really don’t know much. She said Dallas sent her a text to meet her in the band room. And during her beating the people said that all of the guys were behind the attack. That they set her up and she was stupid to believe the guys would actually care for her.” She finishes looking over at me with fire in her eyes. What the fuck? Why would they put the blame on us?

Before I can think of much else my dad speaks again. “Do you know who attacked her?” He asks, and she shakes her head no. “Do you think you know who attacked her?” My dad rephrases his question. She looks down, “I think it was Clara, Olive and Kylie, but it’s just speculation because she hasn’t and won’t tell me who it was.” She finishes looking defeated. She probably feels like she betrayed her friend.

My eyes go straight to Dallas once she finishes. He throws his hands up in surrender, “You know I’d never do that! I lost my phone after lunch; I still haven’t found it. I had to get a new one! She really thinks I set her up?” He looks at Mia with sad eyes. She shrugs, “Yes, she does. And if it really was the she devils then it makes since that she believes it.” She says, and I inwardly chuckle at her calling them the she devils. I don’t believe for a second Dallas would have set Amy up. Plus, he was complaining about losing his phone after lunch. He even went to the Café and store he went to, to get Amy’s birthday stuff to see if it was at one of those places.

I look at Mia, “What can we do to make her believe we had nothing to do with this, because for the record we
