Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 336

Chapter 336

He repeats everything that was said several times Over and over again, and I think I agree with Hazel. There’s something there, we just haven’t been able to put our foot on it yet.

Hazel paces in front of Griffon and I on the couch, while everyone else is just sporadically placed around the room.

I’m not sure what any of us can do, but I know that we all feel helpless, and all of us need to feel like we’re doing something.

Plus, no matter how many stories me and all my cousins have been told, we weren’t there last time. Maybe it’ll help that half of the people in the room were.

Liam and dad walk back in the room as Griffon gets to the part about the doll and burning down the house, and we all turn to look at them.

Liam grips his phone and looks at Griffon, his jaw ticking as the memories inevitably come back to him. A soft smile plays on his lips, “That fucking doll played a part in almost all our fucking stories.” He whispers, then runs his hand over his face and shakes his head.

“Your sister just called.” He starts, then swallows roughly, “She’s pregnant.” He whispers.

I swear you could hear a pin dropped.

The excitement I’m sure all of want to feel being completely overshadowed by the pressing ticking time bomb that is our fate.

My eyes move to my dad, his eyes on his Alpha. The pain Liam is feeling, the sheer heartbreak, is also affecting him. You can see it in his features. In his darkened under eyes, in the way he looks like he’s aged ten years since this all started happening, in the sleepless nights he’s had.

He’s probably been taking this harder than anyone in this room, other than Liam, Dallas and Griffon. You just wouldn’t be able to see it thanks to the forever stoic face he keeps, but it’s there, hiding in plain sight.
