Chapter 44

I jump off the couch, “Well, I’m not going to be able to sleep now. So, you guys need to take my mind off of it before you leave.” I tell them and they all chuckle. “What’d you have in mind?” Cole winks. Liam grabs a pillow from the couch and throws it at Cole’s head, which gets a laugh out of everybody. I roll my eyes, “I don’t know. Mia’s better at coming up with stuff. Let me call her over here.” I say not really thinking about what time it was. I make the call and she told me she’d be here soon, but she has to sneak out.

Once she gets here, she walks into my house and looks around. “Why is every light in your house on?” She asks me, I laugh because after I called her, I kept getting creeped out and felt the need to have every light on. The guys thought it was hysterical. “Ask your future leaders. They’re the ones trying to scare me to death over here.” I joke, and she looks at them accusingly. Cole throws his hands up in surrender, “Hey, not our fault Dallas is so good at telling the moon man story!” He exclaims, with a smirk on his face. Her face turns to understanding, seemingly already knowing the story.

Seriously, do all the wolf’s parents really tell this story to their children?! “Ah, so you need to do something to get your mind off of it before bed?” I smile, she knows me so well. I nod and she laughs, “Okay! What about truth or dare?” She says excitedly. “Oh, I’m down!” Cole says quickly, Walker shrugs, Dallas nods and Liam walks over to stand next to me. “Whatever helps her, I’m in.” He says sweetly. Mia rolls her eyes at him and goes to sit down on the floor on the other side of the coffee table away from the couch. Liam and I go back to our spots

and Dallas sits on the other side of me on the couch.

“Okay, who wants to go first?” Mia asks the room. Cole raises his hand excitedly. Mia laughs, “Alright, truth or dare, Cole?” “Dare, obviously.” He answers. “Okay, I dare you to… Give Walker a lap dance.” She chuckles and stands up to go turn on the music. “Oh, hell no! Why me?” Walker complains, Mia just shrugs at him. Cole gets up and walks up to Walker slowly. He’s got on his best sexy face and jumps on Walker’s lap. He starts grinding his hips while taking off his shirt. Then he spins his shirt in circles above his head and throws it away, he grabs Walkers face and thrust it into his chest moving his face around on his chest. We’re all dying of laughter as Walker is trying desperately to get Cole off him. Cole stands up and bends over placing both his hands on Walker’s knees and slowly moves his hands up Walker’s thighs. Walker finally has had enough and pushes Cole off him and throws him to the ground. Cole gives him a couple kissy faces and then goes back to his seat, laughing. We all need a minute to catch our breaths before we start the next round.

“Alright, alright. My turn.” Cole says trying to calm down the laughing. “Liam! Truth or dare?” Cole asks. Liam chuckles, “Well, coming from you, I’ll say truth.” We all look at Cole waiting for his response. “Okay…. Um… yeah, okay, can you tell us the truth of that fucking small pink bunny you sleep with every night?” Cole asks 1 feel Liam tense up a little beside me. Pink bunny? Why would Liam sleep with a pink bunny? I look at Cole confused; he laughs. “He’s had this stupid bunny on his bed for as long as we can remember. He refuses to tell us why he keeps it, but he’s been made fun of so many times and still refuses to move it. Figure I might finally get an answer.” He explains and shrugs, I look back at Liam.

His expression is hard to read right now, but he finally speaks. “First of all, it’s not like I cuddle the damn thing to sleep every night, it just sits on my headboard.” Cole rolls his eyes, “Yeah, yeah. Just get on with it!” Cole exclaims. “Yeah, I’d like to hear this one to.” Walker says smirking at Liam, Liam rolls his eyes. “Well, it was won for me. I was like six which made her like five. She won this stinking pink bunny for me at one of the carnivals that came through. She was so sweet and cute I couldn’t refuse the thing. So, I took it and kept it.” Liam explains. Why does this story sound so familiar? “So, you’ve kept this random girls’ pink bunny all these years? What for?” Walker asks, Liam looks down at me. “Well, she wasn’t random, and she was pretty special to me. I couldn’t get rid of it.” Liam answers, not taking his eyes off me. My eyes go wide at the realization, “Wait, you kept that thing all these years?” I ask quietly, not believing it even with the guys saying it’s true. He nods,
