Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 46

Chapter 46

She’s never been kissed? I guess, it makes sense, since no one really talked to her before now. Still, never? “Pick something else, Cole.” I say. Her first kiss will not be with Mia. Cole nods, and looks back at Mia, seemingly thinking of what to make her do now. “Alright fine, kiss Walker then.” Cole says, and we all roll our eyes at Cole not being able to get his mind out of the gutter. Granted I don’t know about Amy, she’s just now peeking out from her hands, seemingly hoping her embarrassment is over. I wouldn’t let them make fun of her, even if they planned to. But I think they’re all smart enough to keep their mouths shut right now.

I pull her hands down from her face, hopefully her face is okay. She threw her hands over her face so fast, I’m sure that couldn’t have felt good with the cast. I hear Mia in the background complaining about how he just ate that crap and threw up, but my focus is on Amy. She’s trying not to look at me, it’s pretty cute. I look over her face and see a red mark where her cast hit her face. I get worried, and she tries to pull away. I let her go but keep an eye on her. She closes her eyes and seems to be having trouble focusing on Walker and Mia, who’s still complaining.

I get up, and go and grab her pills from her room and some water from the kitchen. She smiles at me when I hand her the pill and water and she says thank you. She takes the pill and lays back into the couch. I whisper in her ear, so only she can hear, “Are you okay? Do you want us to leave?” I don’t want to leave, but I do want to make sure she’s well rested and not in pain. He shakes her head no, and turns a little to see Walker and Mia.

“Dude, I used mouthwash!” He looks at Mia accusingly. “Mia, either kiss him or go eat some of your concoction. You’re the only one who knows what’s in that disgusting concoction, so it’ll probably be worse for you.” Cole laughs. Mia sighs and then walks over to Walker. She leans over and goes in to give him a peck on the lips. When she starts to pull away, he grabs her and full on kisses her. She seems to enjoy it as she climbs on his lap and starts interacting with the kiss. “Alright, alright, I’m satisfied.” Cole chuckles and Mia pulls away from Walker seemingly out of breath, and glares back at Cole who just smirks at her.

Mia rolls her eyes, “Goddess, Cole you’re disgusting. Dallas, truth or dare?” She asks. “Truth.” Dallas responds, Mia groans,

“Goddess, you guys are such pussies. Okay, umm… Do you think you could take Cole in a fight?” She asks with a sly smile on her face. “Oh, yeah.” Dallas answers, and Cole looks offended. “You could not take me.” Cole responds, with a smug look on his face. “Dude, I take you down all the time in training.” Dallas says, Cole chuckles. “Yeah, but in an actual fight, I wouldn’t hold back.” Cole says. “Wanna bet?” Dallas responds. I look at Mia who has a smug look on her face. She knew that this would happen. They’ll destroy Amy’s house just to prove the other wrong. Cole stands up and gestures Dallas to come at him. “Settle it at training, not in Amy’s house.” I say calmly. They both agree, “Fine, I’ll see you at training tomorrow.” Cole says pointing two fingers at his eyes and then pointing them at Dallas. Dallas chuckles and shakes his head.

“Alright, Amy your turn. Truth or dare?” Dallas asks, looking over at her. She thinks for a minute, then decides, ” Dare.” She says seemingly thinking truth is too risky. Dallas considers his options, “Okay, I dare you to…” Right before he could finish, Amy’s mom walks into the house. I see Amy look over at the clock by the tv. Amy’s mom surveys the room and sighs. “Boys, it’s late. You should head home.” She looks each of us in the eyes. “Go home and get some sleep for school.” She looks at me, “Your father has placed guards outside the house for the times you guys can’t be here. You’ve missed too much school and need to get back on track. You can see Amy tomorrow.” She says tiredly. She looks like she hasn’t slept in days. With Amy on the mend and fully protected 1 wonder what has her staying up at night? We all get up to leave and say our goodbyes to Amy.

Mia walks out with us to our surprise, “You’re not staying?” I ask, she shakes her head no. “No, I snuck out remember? I have to be home in the morning.” I nod at her explanation, it makes sense. Walker says he’ll walk her home, and Dallas starts heading the direction of his house once we all say goodbye to each other.
