Chapter 65
I look over her body again not believing she didn’t do anything. Dallas speaks up, “No, I don’t think she hurt her, but she definitely said something to her. She has her flight face on.” I look at Amy’s face and she looks like she wants to kill Dallas for betraying her. “What did she say?” I ask angrily. I’m so tired of this stupid bitch trying to ruin things between Amy and me. But fuck Dallas is right, she definitely has her flight face on.
Amy looks down at her feet, and just shakes her head. I pull her face back up to look at me, and I can see she’s fighting hard to not cry. Fuck. I look at her sternly trying to make her cave. “She didn’t say anything I didn’t already know.” She says, and then angrily pulls herself out of my arms and starts heading inside, leaving Dallas and I to follow her.
‘Did you catch anything?’ I ask Dallas over mind-link. I see him watching her, like she’s going to explode. ‘Yeah, she was talking to me about being worried about you finding a mate. Then, Clara came up behind us saying she should be, and that you were just using her. But that’s as much as I heard until I was out.’ He tells me. Fuck, I didn’t know the mate thing was on her mind. You’d think after the amazing afternoon we had it wouldn’t be, but maybe that’s precisely why it is.
We watch as she walks inside and goes straight for the alcohol, pouring straight vodka in a cup and downing the whole thing. Dallas and I look at each other and know that this can’t be good. Mia runs over to her, and Amy puts on a fake smile for her, pours her cup to the brim with vodka and follows Mia out to the dance floor. I have a feeling being here for Mia is the only reason she’s still here.
An hour of just watching Amy get more and more annihilated, without sparing a glance in my direction has me on edge. Any time I get close to her, she finds a way to escape, so I decided to just keep an eye on her from a distance in my normal chair. What could Clara have said that made her this upset? I’ve never wanted to kill someone so bad in my entire life. Why can’t she just leave us alone?
I never gave Clara any indication that she was anything more than a fling. Never, but she seems to think just because we dated that means she has a right to be my Luna. She’s delusional, she’s never meant anything to me, and I thought I made that even more clear at the prom when I refused to dance with her. Going as far as literally handing the crown to Dave and walking away. Even if she somehow was my mate, I wouldn’t accept her. She’s a horrible person, not Luna material at all. She doesn’t care about this pack she only cares about herself. Hell, even Amy has made more of an attempt to make relationships in the pack. Every guard that guards her and Heather love them, they make an attempt to get to know them. The guards actually fight to watch over them, apparently Heather’s cooking is really good.
Amy can barely stand at this point, she’s put so much of her weight on Mia. Even Mia’s starting to realize something’s wrong in her very drunk state. Mia looks up at Walker worried, and he goes to hold Amy upright. Amy whispers something in his ear, but I can’t hear it over the music from here. Walker looks back at me worried? Mad? He seems confused. I see him say something to her and next thing I know he’s carrying her bridal style. I stand up and he mind-links me. ‘I’ll get her home. We need to talk though.’ Which honestly just worries me more, and I start moving closer. ‘Stop! She doesn’t want you near her right now.’ He says looking at me angrily, guess he figured out what emotion he was going with. Mia glares at me, as they make their way to the door. Dallas goes and follows them out, leaving me very confused with Cole. “Man, what the fuck did you do? You even have Walker mad.” He asks. I stare at him, “I have no idea.” Because I don’t. What the fuck did Clara say that has Amy so mad at me?
I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for them to return, when they finally do thirty minutes later. Mia must have stayed with Amy, because she didn’t come back with Walker and Dallas. “Everybody out!” Walker shouts, even

over the music everybody hears him and starts making their way out of my house. He waits by the door, until the last person leaves and slams the door shut behind them.
