“Suspend all projects launched by Kade. Pull back all funds and divert the capital into the wolf spirit regeneration program.”

The assistant hesitated. “Sir, the program is still in an experimental phase with massive risks. The board will never approve this move.”

Colt let out a cold sneer, his words sharp with contempt. “Dissent? What grounds do they have to object? I hold full authority over the group now. Anyone who opposes can step down from the board immediately.”

Daring not to argue further, the assistant replied respectfully, “Understood, sir. I will make arrangements at once.”

A triumphant grin lingered on Colt’s face after ending the call. The long–awaited chance finally arrived. Once Kade passed away, both the corporation and the Alpha King title would fall firmly into his grasp, with no one left standing in his way.

Chaos swiftly swept through Howell Group. Loyal staff of Kade’s got fired one after another. All his ongoing projects were halted abruptly. Funds shifted rapidly to the controversial regeneration program, which the board deemed utterly absurd. No recorded case proved wolf spirits could revive, and they failed to see why Colt placed such blind faith in the scheme.

Senior shareholders voiced their grievances during the board meeting. They stared at Colt with dissatisfaction and doubt.

“The program carries extreme risks with zero successful results. We cannot pour vast amounts of capital into such an uncertain venture.”

Colt looked back at them with arrogant disdain. “Unsuitable? What exactly meets your standards? The old projects Kade pushed forward?
