Nira’s POV:

Kade nodded calmly, but didn’t give me the answer I wanted. “You’ll find out when the results are released.”

I let out a soft scoff at his evasiveness, but didn’t press further.

After getting out of the car, I stretched, the cool night air helping clear my head.

“I’m heading in. Thanks.”

I waved at him without turning back and walked straight into the Soren estate.

The house felt unusually quiet. Only a few staff members were around, and none of the Soren family were present.
