He Gave Her My Eyes A Story of Final Sight novel Chapter 112

Naomi kept her head up, even with blood on her lips. Her voice shook as she tried to speak, “I didn’t… I never went after Eric. I swear, I didn’t…”

Her words seemed to make Leila even angrier. Leila grabbed Naomi’s chin, her fingers digging in, her face twisted in fury. “The truth is right in front of you and you still won’t admit it? You really have a stubborn mouth, Naomi. Fine. If that’s how you want it, don’t blame me for what happens next.”

Leila let her go and looked over at the men holding Naomi down. “This woman is nothing but trouble. After being locked up for all those years, she must be desperate by now. Why don’t you boys give her what she wants?”

The men exchanged looks and started grinning, their intentions clear.

Naomi’s face lost all color. She shook her head, backing away, her voice barely more than a whisper. “No, please… don’t come near me. Don’t touch me…”

One of the men moved toward her, reaching out. Suddenly, something heavy crashed against the back of his head. He spun around, cursing loudly.

Theresia was standing just inside the doorway. Her expression was cold, her eyes dark and intense.

The man glared at her. “You crazy bitch. Are you looking to get killed?”

Theresia didn’t flinch. When she glanced at Naomi and saw the state she was in, something in her chest tightened. Her brows drew together and her eyes flashed cold. “The one who should be worried is you.”

Before anyone could react, there were footsteps in the hallway. Hanson had arrived with his team. Compared to Leila’s thugs, they were on a whole different level. With barely any effort, Hanson’s people had Leila’s men pinned and helpless.

Earlier that morning, Leila had been going through Patti’s things when she found a hidden paternity test report. The shock nearly knocked the breath from her chest. She’d called Eric right then and there. Once faced with the evidence, Eric couldn’t deny a thing. He claimed Naomi had seduced him and threatened to tell Leila everything unless he let her have the baby, insisting he’d been forced into it.

That was all it took for Leila to storm over with her men.

Theresia’s body swayed, and she looked like she was struggling to find words. Deep down, she felt guilty. Leila was right. She really was a bastard child, someone who didn’t belong.

She bit her lip, her face paper-white, her hands twisting the edge of her shirt.

Then, out of nowhere, a frail voice broke the silence. “No… it’s not true, Theresia. I never went after Eric. He… he forced himself on me…”
