Teresa stepped out of the bar and paused for a second. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a group of men trailing behind her.
She kept walking, pretending not to notice, but slid her hand into her purse just in case.
Out of nowhere, the men charged at her. Teresa spun around, pulled out the stun gun she’d been hiding, and fired it at the guy closest to her.
The rest of them snapped out of it. One of them cursed, “Watch out, she’s got a stun gun!”
They closed in around her.
Teresa wasn’t the type to back down, and after a few drinks, she felt even bolder. When one of the men reached for her, she kicked him right between the legs and he collapsed, howling in pain.
Before the others could react, she grabbed another guy by the arm and flipped him right over her shoulder.
Now, three men were left groaning on the ground. Teresa looked at the last one standing. “Looks like it’s just you now.”

Not far away, Tim kept glancing over. “Garry, don’t you think that woman by the bar looks kind of familiar?”
Garry flicked his cigarette into the trash, his eyes never leaving Teresa.
When Garry didn’t answer, Tim turned to Warren for help.
Warren shot him a look. “Tim, think about it for a second. Who else could get Garry’s attention like that?”
Suddenly, it clicked. “Wait, that’s Teresa! No wonder she looked so familiar.”
Tim looked back at her, impressed. “Wow, I had no idea Teresa could fight. No wonder Garry likes her.”
Right then, the last guy pulled something out of his pocket and tossed powder in Teresa’s direction.
She didn’t have time to dodge and ended up inhaling a bunch of it.
The guy was barely conscious when another thug—one Teresa had already knocked down—got up and tried to sneak up on Garry.
Before Teresa could say anything, Garry had already grabbed the guy’s arm and twisted it until it snapped.
A scream tore through the air.
Garry’s voice was ice cold. “Tim, take these guys to the police.”
Tim nodded. “On it, Garry.”
He dragged two of the men away while Warren took care of the others and tossed them into the car.
Garry walked over to Teresa. “Are you alright? Are you hurt…”
Before he could finish, Teresa slumped against him. Garry felt her body go limp and tightened his arms around her, holding her close and steady.
