It was past ten in the morning. Most people had gone to work, and Quinn had headed to the Saint Group's office.
He called Nelson. "Boss, aren't you here yet?"
Nelson leaned against his car, soaking wet, his brow furrowed in frustration. "Cancel the morning meetings."
He had canceled several meetings lately, but today's was different.
Quinn carefully chose his words. "Mr. Saint Senior is inspecting the company this morning. He will be attending this meeting."
Arthur Saint usually inspected the company about twice a year.
He was already at the office, and the executive meeting was starting in ten minutes, but Nelson hadn't shown up.
Nelson rubbed his temples. "Cancel it."
Quinn could only nod. "Alright, I'll send out the notice."
Nelson had already called over thirty bodyguards to search the area. They had done everything possible and checked the surrounding surveillance footage, but there was no trace.
Either Moonlight was still in the neighborhood, or she had been killed.
Nelson was a bit afraid to go home. He dreaded Juniper's questions. She wouldn't be able to handle this blow right now.
He pursed his lips, hoping his men would find her soon so he wouldn't have to be on edge.
But eventually, he had to go back.
At 1:00 PM, he drove to his front door. When he opened it, he heard noises coming from upstairs.
He didn't even change his shoes and quickly ran upstairs.
