"Don't misunderstand. Sylvia was just feeling devastated, so she came to me for comfort."
"Scarlett, I know you've never liked her, but no matter what, you shouldn't have let Stellan treat her like that!"
Scarlett's eyes turned to ice.
"Running to your room in the middle of the night in a lace nightgown to 'seek comfort'?"
"I won't even comment on your twisted cousin relationship!"
"But I despise that bitch, and yes, I want to hit her every time I see her! If you have any sense, you'll keep her far away from me! Otherwise, I can't guarantee what I'll do next time!"
She was boiling with rage, the sight of them together only fueling the fire.
She waved her phone at him and let out a cold sneer.
"Didn't you just brag that the Flynn family has a spotless reputation and that your dad's scandal was just an accident? Well, look who holds the scandal now!"
"If you dare leak anything about my mother, I will release these photos and videos of you and Sylvia tonight, right alongside a copy of our marriage license!"
"I bet not many young people care about my mother's past, but a massive scandal involving the CEO of the Flynn Group cheating with his own cousin? That's premium gossip. People would eat it up!"
"You two make me sick. I'm leaving. Have fun."
A strong wave of nausea churned in Scarlett's stomach. If she stayed a second longer, she was going to throw up.
But the one silver lining was that earlier tonight, she had been stressing over her lack of leverage against Yardley. She never expected Sylvia to deliver the perfect weapon right to her doorstep.
Scarlett turned and walked away with a triumphant swagger.
Furious, Yardley instinctively wanted to chase after her, but a sudden gasp from Sylvia stopped him.
